Whatcha watching? ๐
Hey hey everyone, is it too early to start binging on the cliche netflix christmasyyy rom coms already? I think not!๐
One of my favorite things to do during these last two months of the year is to watch the Christmasyy themed movies, and if it's a cliche rom-com, then it's even better!๐ฅฐ
I did see a few recently added titles on Netflix (likely on other streaming platforms too) and I think "it's beginning to look like Christmas" lol, but haven't watched any yet, sooooo would love any recommendations, for such movies, themed around Christmas, holidays, festive cheer, rom-com etc all things wholesome and loving!๐ฅฐ
Any all-time Christmas favorite movies?๐ฎ
Feel free to share any recommendations, old as well as new, and for any streaming platforms other than netflix also!๐
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou Sun, I don't know if you are open to cartoons but there is this Christmas movie called "Annabelle's Wish". It is from the 90s but it was my favorite holiday movie growing up. I watched it as a tradition of mine every year, especially when my kids were younger. I quit celebrating all holidays a few years ago, but I still watch it once a year. Like I said, it was a movie that came out when I was a little kid but it is just so heartfelt and beautiful. Anyone with a heart will shed some kind of tears, especially at the end. Maybe with a Google search you may find where you can watch it for free. Lol. As far as Netflix goes, recently I watched "Hot Frosty" and it was a sweet movie. Don't know what kind of movies you are into, lol, but I thought it was a good, in the Christmas spirit, kinda movie. :)ย
PS: This is Annabelle's Wish.ย
@YourCaringConfidant
Aww this is tooo cute, yesss, cartoon and animated movies are welcome too.
Thank youuu for sharing, Desiree, I'll definitely check it out!๐ฅฐ
Ooh and Hot Frosty is one of the recently added to Netflix titles that I saw lol, added to my list too xD so will watch that as well!
I think, it's special to have our own traditions and create time to enjoy things we did as kids.ย
I do not celebrate Christmas, nor any of these later month festivities, in their traditional sense either, so honestly, watching these holiday-ee, Christmas-yy movies, sipping on hot chocolate and spending time wrapped in a cozy blanket is my personal "tradition" during this time of the year too.ย
Too many people confuse traditions and festive times to be all cheery and "merry" or that things should be a certain way only, but it doesn't have to be so always and it really isn't for everyone, so whatever feels comforting and warm to us, matters and doesn't even have to make sense to others. To each their own, always hehe.๐
Again, I appreciate your wholesome comment here and do hope you get to continue cherishing your personal traditions too.๐ค
