Best Sci Movie/Book/TV art..

DaveMcGrath March 23rd, 2020

I'm a traditional sort of guy when it comes to these things.

I still remember seeing the later two movies in Theater with my dad and brother. 5 years old, looking up at that big screen.. that was a movie-going experience.

What's your choice for movie poster/book cover/tv art sort of thing?

Breaking The Silence by Diane Chamberlain

You wouldn't expect the mysteries, suspense and an amazing story based on this cover. Definitely I have never experienced such intense emotions to solve mysteries like in this book. Definitely the best I have ever read. With a very simple cover. I don't like extreme covers and then you read a story that didn't have an intense feeling as the one you saw in the cover.

Hmmm, might just put it on the reading list. I'm not a huge fan of extreme book covers, I'd rather pay for the quality of the writing than the cover of the book.

quality really matters. I feel of late authors have really lost it on their covers. This is indeed a great book you should indeed read it. :)

lot of books are being published through Amazon's self-publishing platform and clogging the market with piles of absolute garbage. I'm a big fan of the traditional publishing house large, small, and niche. They have a lot invested in getting a quality book out the door.

Not always a winner, but definitely way more of a chance of getting a well-written book than most of the stinkers on amazon self-publishing.

Yes I noticed that with Amazon, what I do is I purchase abook that is not enclosed with a plastic film because then I can go through a few pages. I also look at peoples reviews of the book.

Do you have any book suggestions?

@DaveMcGrath I love stuff like this (Contact is another one) I guess it appeals to me because I know there is more out there. Who knows, maybe even a past life...

I highly recommend both of these movies:
