psychological torture

I've had some involvement with police recently, but never been charged with anything

since then I've been persistently and relentlessly harassed, bullied, antagonised, provoked, abused, etc by my family, friends, neighbours, and even health practitioners (!) and I've had to totally isolate myself from people to try to stay safe

so instead I try to go online to find connection, and wouldn't you know it, I've been getting the same thing, everywhere I go, especially in places intended for "support"

it appears that the goal is to completely isolate me from any genuine support as some kind of cruel, disgusting torture

it's been going on for well over 2 years and there is no sign of it abating

it's even happening right here

this post will likely go unanswered, because withholding is one of the main methods in use

imagine being a voluntary participant in such a sick, evil, illegal torture operation

if you deliberately deprive someone of genuine interactions and allow only interactions with disingenuous, fake people who consistently end up abusing and gaslighting you, then the rational, reasonable response is to consider every new person who appears with extreme suspicion

that's not illness, it's a deliberately conditioned behaviour

@IdeasOfReference that's a fair point ❤ ❤ trust is not an easy thing for lots of people. My life was a bit well not normal. I didn't get to interact, or talk to anyone for the first 18 years of my life, I'm 23 now. And 7 cups is my main socialising place. You see it's different here from anywhere else, it's safe here for us to be ourselves, and help each other along the way😁 we are all like a giant family who understand and care about each other. I really hope you start to feel comfortable here soon, and make lots of friends ❤ I'm right here for you ❤

@Tinywhisper11

we are all like a giant family who understand and care about each other

that's a very interesting way of putting it, all considered

my experience does not accord with that statement, but perhaps time will tell

@IdeasOfReference 😥 that's really sad to hear, cause this is supposed to be a judgement free place, where we can speak out truth and  support each other. Well just know I'm right here if you want to talk ❤ I'm not a listener, but we can talk here. Gives you a giant tiny hug ❤❤

My advice is get a notebook and call it your "bad book". Write the names of people who mistreat you, the date it happens and exactly what they do or say. It's your right to remember everything horrible anyone does no matter how influential their position. You shouldn't have to keep tabs in your head. That would drive anyone crazy. People sometimes rely on someone else's forgetfulness in order to establish dominance. That's what's wrong with this world.

HelloHereWeAre August 24th

I wish I had some advice. Recently, I found a community of people I like which has helped me some. Yet, that community is work related which makes things strange when I am struggling with other stuff. I think it is still important to have emotional support outside of work.

I am not sure why the world is so hard right now, but it makes me sad. I am sorry you are going through what you are going through. I wish I could say “stay strong,” but I imagine that may be hard right now too. So, I suppose, “hang in there?” It may or may not get better, but there is always the possibility.

What do you like to do when you are isolated? Do you play games or have any sort of hobby you do?
