To name it at least. Like - OK, I feel envy right now. And then to explore it, what it is about, what is behind it. I feel envy to my friend, for example, for her dress as she is ok to wear a bright color and look so sexy, and I wasn't that confident today so wear just casual and feel myself an agly fly. I don't like to feel like this and I wish I feel more confidence.

When my emotions strive to stress me out I find if I can get alone and play a guilded meditation with my headphones in a relaxed atmosphere I can begin to feel myself calming down from within and then it reaches my outward person changing my focus.

The best way to cope with negative emotions is to express it through art. Whether it be visual, musical, performance, culinary, or whatever art form of choice, it's good to let it all out and to let it be in a second place besides your own head.
It's kind of like building homes for them. That way, they won't have to bother you. They can stay in their own house. Sure, they'll come over and bother you once in a while, or piss on your lawn even though they got their own now. But at least those emotions and thoughts are not with you everyday 24/7 simply because they, quite literally, have nowhere else to go but a small crowded space with you in it.

The best way to cope with Negative Emotions especially anxiety is through knowledge. Fear of the unknown is inevitable but to have a better understanding of your fears makes you think of them slightly more rationally. Plus the conscious is a hellish place, to read is to gain a new perspective or a new consciousness to house in for a few moments.
stay in your room and lie on your bed for half an hour. It's pretty comforting, and besides, you need time alone to recover.

Keeping a track of your thoughts (Mindfulness) and which negative thoughts are triggering those emotions. Emotions do not come first, it is the thoughts that brings feelings along. Understanding this process helps.
@Theactivetherapist
I think that paying close attention to the thoughts and emotions which one is experiencing, can prove to be helpful. I have heard that, that it is one's thoughts which effectively produce one's emotions as a result. Thanks for your insight!
