Hi, I'm audienta
Hello everyone,
After starting the Awareness and Education on Dissociative Disorders Project, I recently became a Community Mentor for the Trauma Community.
My goal is it to support everyone to the best of my abilities.
But to start, I thought, it would make sense to introduce myself for you to have a picture of who I am.
Stats: I'm in my 20s and live in Switzerland. I prefer they/them pronouns in English and sie/ihr in German - these are the languages I speak besides Swissgerman and some French.
Diagnoses: I'm autistic and have been dealing with a lot of related comorbidities, like c-PTSD, recurrent depressive disorder, anxiety, dissociative disorders, functional neurological disorder with non-epileptic seizures, ehlers-danlos-syndrom, POTS, etc.
Future Plans: At the moment, I'm not able to work, but in the future, I'd love to focus on peer support as well as research and support for people with complex chronic illnesses.
Do you have any questions or ideas, please let me know! My PMs are always open. Due to my illnesses, I sometimes have a slow response time but on the other hand, they allow me to relate to you and support you thoroughly.
Take care,
audienta
Hi audienta
I am 68 years old, I live in Scotland I was so pleased to join the trauma group as a forum supporter. I suffer from bi polar, and various other, illnesses, but I have found that being part of 7 cups team, has given me an outlet. I came to help people, I feel I have learned a lot. I wish to continue my work, gain experience and take on more roles.
