@soulsings

I avoid added sugar and foods which raise the blood sugar too much. Something I find helpful too is to do a glucose lowering exercise after eating like this one https://youtu.be/hrgR578Rcyk?si=KsyFo7sMtJurkv_r. I've seen a number of people who had their toes removed due to diabetes or have other issues so I try to be do prevention as much as I can.

I eat a real/ whole food plan. A lot of people call it Primal living. I drink water, coffee and teas. Nothing processed. I have the opisite issue of Diabetes. Which is Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). I avoid foods that spike my blood sugar.. I know it will drop! I test it regularly i get regular eye exams.

@compassionateMoon4024 I have struggled with hypoglyceia most of my life. I used to be on high carb diets. Now I am on low carb - moderate protein diets with smaller healthy snacks or meals every 3 hours and the crash does not happen and the spike does not happen because eat less.

Feel free to reply here or PM me if you want to discuss this more. I am interested in how others cope with hypoglycemia.

Sending this to my recently diagnosed mentor

@soulsings. I have given up cakes ,candies, ice cream,, chips etc… I wasn’t a soda drinker so I didn’t have to give that up. I was also instructed eat less carbs than I used to (but not give them up completely). I also get as much exercise as I am able to.
