What kinds of creative things do you do - post a picture here in this thread. If have trouble loading pic, save to your device & load file from device
this is a watercolor I did when I was thinking this world needs a little peace. what looks like the moon or the sun is actually the flash reflecting off the glass in the frame. But I think it is a nice effect. soulsings
Tutorial to post pictures (works on browser login not on app login)
- Save picture file with Alpha letters only - no symbols like % $ # etc
- Save picture as JPG file. If pic is other format you can open it in a photo editing program and save it as JPG or jpeg that ends in .jpg
- The picture adding tool is in the tool bar above the post you are doing in a rectangle with trees in it. It is located to the left of the link icon just right of middle of the page. Click on that.
- You get two options upload from your device by clicking on Choose Files or give web address. I find the most reliable way is to upload from my device clicking on Choose Files
- Many websites that host pictures do not work maybe because they do not store them as JPG files.
- It is always interesting to know a little bit about the pic so type in some text.
- Remember to click on Update Post when finished.
Someone asked me to see if the app worked with posting a pic. My first attempt did not work with the app did not post pic nor did the 2nd attempt. I logged out of the 7 cups app and I logged in to 7cups on phone in a browser on phone (or computer) and it works fine. Sorry for you app only users.
If anyone else can post a pic with the app, please let me know what your method is by message at is. www.7cups.com/@soulsings
Done a water colour painting today 😊 and used glitter glue @_@
@emotionalTalker2260 that is lovely thanks for sharing!
@soulsings
thank you. And no problem 😊
@emotionalTalker2260
Very impressive, the greens look like green quartz which I really love!
Inspired by the amazing @EmotionsListener ! So before you all say it looks awful, I know it was my first attempt 😆 It was meant to be a jellyfish! Although I really did have some difficulties, so I used my creative mind and turned it into a snail!
@LlamaLizz
Little by little we learn and grow. Great use of creativity as well!
@LlamaLizz
I find it super creative! Well done!
Amazing, i liked it..... I have felt the same as u described
This is a picture I took several years ago. One of my favorites. The tangled briars remind me of all the difficulties I've had to face (& still do) in life. But there, I see the sun always there to shine new light on a new day, every day. This picture helps me remember to turn the negative into positive. Yes the tangled messes are there, but so is so much happiness we can choose to embrace and focus on.
@EmbStitcher33
Very beautiful reminder of that there is light in the most tangled situations.
@emotionalTalker2260
This picture somehow creates a feeling of happiness in me! Thank you!
@amiablePeace77
awww. I’m glad 😊 was trying to do a surrealistic galaxy 😮
I also like to crochet... this picture... I just had to post it here. 😅
NO I didn't do this, but I wanted to bring on some smiles... 😄
Now that took some handy work...
@EmbStitcher33
That’s a funny image. But the amount of time it would take to crochet that 😭 that would take me at least 6 months to 2 years
@EmbStitcher33
That cracks me up. Thanks for sharing! I love funny memes.
@EmbStitcher33
Wow, this did put a smile on my face!
@soulsings
This is so pretty!! Have you taken art courses or classes before?
I love how you played with the shades of blues purples and pinks here and blended them so skillfully. Blending the shades is something that I struggle with!
Here's a little something that I made, the concept of this picture is abstract, sky and clouds in the shades of sunset, connecting with sea and land. The shades from the top: Blue, yellow, red and pink depict the sky with clouds. Different shades of blue in the middle depict the sea and shades of lime yellow and green in the bottom depict the land.
@ThoughtsBubbleExpress very colorful.
I have taken some art classes but a lot self taught.
The secret of layering colors is to paint a light blue in a big section of blue and then add successively smaller sections of darker blue. You started to do that in your painting I see different shades of blue.
Yes and also it was so hard to work with since I don't have acrylic paints and handmade paper, I simply used an A4 sheet and water/ poster colors
@ThoughtsBubbleExpress I have done paintings with the little boxes of paints. The key is to mix the paints in a container to get a watery color and then do general backgrounds for big areas. Only full on colors in foreground. Background colors are fainter and more diluted almost like a fog.
Ah I understand now, I never took any classes, I'm trying to learn through YouTube
@soulsings
this is one of my drawings. i would love to hear what do you think when you see it. what message it gave you? ☺️
@rahatBlge amazing. THe mother is the trunk of the tree.
Is it sideways? I can fix it if you would like that?
@rahatBlge
I see, "women give birth to life".
It's very intricate. I like it.
@dilekben
Wow, can really feel the emotion in your artwork, that's clever.
To me, it shows you can grow through pain.
