A Letter of Hope
Dear Member or Listener,
I’ve been thinking about you. Maybe I haven’t sent you a message or commented on your post, but I have an idea of who you are.
I know that you may have been through some ups and downs. I know that life hasn’t always been easy. I know that people may have said things about you that are not true. And that you may have been treated in unfair ways.
The world may have thrown a lot at you. I know what it feels like to be in pain and seemingly buried under a pile of rocks and rubble. Or to feel like I’m drowning and then all of a sudden a helpful hand pulls me out of the water.
To breathe again and more easily. To begin to think okay I’m going to make it. Things will be okay.
And that path to okay can feel like a long time. You might be thinking: Why am I not there yet? How come I have these other new challenges to solve on top of my old ones?
I ask these questions too. I don’t know how to answer them for myself or for others. That is far above my pay grade. However, what I can do is believe in you. And I do. With all of my heart and every fiber in my being. I believe in you.
You matter to me and you matter to this community. Your life is valuable and it has a purpose.
7 Cups was built with you in mind. We are all builders here. Glad workers. We build for you and all of the other people that walk through our doors.
And it is the highest privilege. It is, to me, the most interesting and most rewarding way to live. You being here makes all of our lives better. It might not feel like that now, but it will. Stay on the path taking one step at a time.
We have hearts full of hope and love and we are rooting for you! Now grab that brick and pass it here. We have lots and lots of building to do!

@GlenM Thank you Glen for always guiding, supporting, and believing in us. This is such a great reminder of believing in each other and knowing there is hope. The hope of knowing we are not alone, the hope of knowing that others understand what challenges are and how it feels to experience them. The hope of knowing that many believe in our small steps even if it doesn't seem impactful in that moment. Such hope and belief keep us empowered and encouraged to keep going and find the way to heal, grow, and deal with any challenges..

Thank you for your letter of hope. It was very touching and inspiring to read your words. I appreciate you thinking of me and the other members or listeners of 7 Cups.
I can relate to some of the challenges you mentioned in your letter. I have also faced some ups and downs in my life, and sometimes I felt like giving up. But I found strength in the support of people like you, who believed in me and encouraged me to keep going.
You are right, life is not easy, but it is also full of opportunities and possibilities. You have a purpose and a value that no one can take away from you. You have a lot to offer to this world and to this community.
I admire your positive attitude and your willingness to help others. You are a great example of what 7 Cups is all about: building a safe and supportive space for people who need it. You make a difference in the lives of many people, including mine.
Thank you for being you, and for being here. I hope you continue to share your letter of hope with others who might need it. I also hope you take good care of yourself and your own well-being. You deserve happiness and peace.

Yeah, you may interpret it that way that only you have the power to go forward with or give up your purpose that no longer serves you, to shift to a new purpose. No one else can take your dreams and your purpose away from you no matter how hard they try. You're welcome, and I mean it, that you can lean back on us and that we are here for you. To everyone reading this, know that you never have to go through anything alone. As mentioned, 7 Cups was built for you, for us, to help and be helped. There's a lot of hurt in the world, and too many endure it alone. Your path to okay won't look like anyone else's but you've got a community of potential people to walk alongside you. Pain is a universal concept, but so is hope. Keep the faith, keep breathing, and don't give up.

It means a lot to know that the highest leader has always in mind all and each of the members of this Community, and genuinely cares about the struggles each of us might have faced or are facing right now.
Cups is such a haven for all who have to deal with the pain, unfairness, and challenges of life! We might have been buried under heavy burdens, but then have found a great relief when joining the amazingly supportive and caring Community you founded. Finding Cups was a milestone in our lives, and a great source of hope. I am sure most people in this Community will agree with that.
While the path to being okay may be long and winding, the support of this Community is a powerful motivator and a great great source of hope.
Hope given by uncountable encouraging words we receive from our peers, and many examples of people who joined Cups in very challenging circumstances in their lives and now are much better, some definitely well. And Cups helped them a lot to get there.
It is very reassuring that we are all in this together and always working, maybe even unaware, to strengthen and grow this amazing Community, a place of support and connection like no other on Earth.

There's some goodness in us that leads us to good places and wonderful people doing some noble and uplifting work together! I am honored that you agree with that, because you have known so many people in Cups for so long, In your wonderful Programs, you are directly connected with many leaders, uncountable people participate in them, and you are so active in all places of this Community, so you have a lot of information on how people feel, and much authority on this.
You are “the voice of the Community” so to speak.
And yes, Cups is like a magnet for good people, I have known sooo many outstanding good people here, who have inspired me like in no other place.
Being a part of such a positive movement is such a privilege! There are so many wrong places to be, and this is a great great place to be.
A place of goodness, love for each other, mutual connection and recognition at the deepest level of what makes us human.

@HealingTalk you captured it! We have collectively built a haven together. that is such a great word. I just looked up the definition. Here it is:
A place of shelter, protection, safety, or retreat; a refuge, a sanctuary. Also as a mass noun: refuge, shelter. (Now the usual sense.)
