Why did we create this page?

Startups are incredibly challenging. People involved in startups often feel alone, stressed, anxious and depressed. The larger culture can message that startups are easy. Founders can feel pressure to always signal that they are ?crushing it.?

Unfortunately, these factors make it harder for people to be honest about the challenges integral to startups. They also make it much harder for people to get the support they need.

Successful startups have great people, a great product and a lot of luck. We know these things. What is less well known, is that successful startups often also get a lot of support. They are honest about their struggles and they learn to lean on others to help them succeed.

The 7 Cups Startup Support System is designed to help companies grow by creating a safe place where people can be honest about their struggles and the support they need to overcome these challenges.

What does this mean for our community?

7Cupsoftea.com/Startups is the first step towards building more specific areas of our website where you all can find more connection & community around topics, troubles and ideas that are most important to you. You can imagine similar 7cups subcommunitieslike /nurses, /policeofficers, /relationships...etc.

We need your help today in getting the word out about 7 Cups/startup so that we can continue to grow our space into something wonderful, unique and niche.

This is one of many uniqueopportunitiesto show ourselves off to the world!

It is explained on page 1 of this forum. It involves going to a website that highlights cool websites and new products. Then you search for Startup Support, and find the entry regarding the startup support system now being offered at 7 cups of tea. And you vote for it! (it seemed that I had to open a Twitter account to vote, so I did!)heartsmiley
