Bug Report: Notification from Noni Will Not Go Away
Hi there!
I seem to have a problem with Noni.
I keep getting a message notification (next to the general request button at the bottom of the screen) from Noni. When I select my conversation with Noni from the panel on the left hand side of the conversations page, the notification goes away. But, when I select another conversation, the notification pops back up again.
Might any of you know any methods to resolve it?
Thanks a bunch!

Sorry for double posting!
But just to add, the notification appears everywhere else too around 7Cups.
Long ago, in real life, I was the victim of a stalker. I had almost forgotten how it felt, until Noni reminded me
Anyway, there is now a new option in your My Settings page. (The link works for everyone.) Near the bottom, uncheck the box Allow Noni Check-ins, and press the Save Changes button. I feel duty bound to mention that even though I have no idea what the setting does and it didn't solve the problem for me.
The way I solved the problem is described here: Block Noni
@RarelyCharlie
Wow! I tried this out and it did block Noni in most of the 7Cups website. She still appears at the "Path" page though. But thank you very much! It removes Noni from the 7Cups conversations page, where I spend most of my time. Thank you :)
Oh It works for me on my Path page, and I don't know what might be going wrong for you.
It did have a minor bug on the Path page, which I have just fixed in version 2 in case it helps. So you could update the script to see what happens, although logically it shouldn't make any difference.

I tried to update it but, it doesn't seem to fix the problem unfortunately. What browser are you using if I may ask? I'm using Google Chrome. Maybe my browser/version is the thing that's causing the difference?
I'm using Chromium, which is essentially the same as Chrome. I can't imagine why it would fail on just the Path page. It simply filters the chat list, which is really the same on every page.

@RarelyCharlie you are amazing , i love this so much. bye bye noni
I have had this problem for months. I didn't know it was a bug? It actually has made me log on less because it's annoying.
I think I would call it a design fault, not a bug. Noni was intentionally designed to be intrusive, as far as anyone can tell.
The bug I referred to above was a bug in my unofficial script to block Noni, but the bug didn't prevent the script from working.
