It can be scary to confront people because....
i feel im just overhinking the situation and being dramatic and just completely wrong, i also don't want to offend the other person
@sighfers and then i overempathise its just too much like im currently dealing with a situation right now where im struggling to confront a friend and its just making my head hurt like hell
When it comes to confronting someone you don't know how they are going to respond. It's like flipping a coin. Plus it all depends on the situation and how you approach them. Keeping calm, making eye contact and using a calm voice can go along way.
not scary for me
They never believe me. They never believe anyone until it is too late
Because I think I might be in the wrong? Because they carry more value than me? (Wrong but powerful)
and for friends because a lot of people want to hear a certain line and if you deviate from that it can cause pain or open up a discussion that might be very heavy. Trying to become more real in terms of what I think personally I should try to express at least a little of in conversation out of respect to them and their ability to handle it (not pre-determining what they can and cannot cope with)
People can be super unpredictable.
People often misunderstand what I say.
I
I feel like everything's gonna go wrong and I'm going to lose all my friends because I wanted to stand up for myself
For me sometimes confronting people can be a bit scary because u have the fear of losing something like the person or u dont know how they will react either in my case some people take advantage and hold things over your head so it makes it a bit harder to be able to confront them
