Kinda personal, but I'm not sure what to do here....
I was with this guy for about 6 months. Everything was amazing for a really really long time. He was sweet and he never did anything to upset me. He started becoming a bit distant, then he broke up with me because he didn't think a relationship would be beneficial due to the fact that he was trying to figure out what he wanted to do. A month after we broke up, I fooled around with a guy and then that was it, kinda one night stand stuff. Well, my ex was mad at me for doing stuff like that "just after we broke up" but then about two hours after he broke up with his most recent girlfriend he was trying to hook up with me. He says he doesn't want to be with me, but he's constantly flirty with me and he asks me to cuddle all the time and I just don't know what to do. I want to get over him really bad, but I just can't. So, what do I do here?

My advice is to cut all ties with this douchebag and get on with your life and enjoy your freedom. It might hurt a little...but time is a great healer.

I completely agree! To get over this guy, you are going to have to cut ties with him. The more you're around him and the more he flirts with you, the harder it is going to be to get over him. You just need to take care of you right now :)

One of the more common pieces of advice people give out on getting over someone is to break off contact with them for some period of time, anywhere between a few months to a year depending on the people in question. The rationale behind this is to give both people time to move on, and not being in each other's faces all the time will help with that.
