I had my tree houses and tunnels, my house under the table had round huge chairs that acted as balconies with rails and all my friends had a room under the table with their own balcony "outside" and free to decorate and run their spaces...

Great, I raised teepees at my front porch at easter just to gather easger eggs and food from passing people and my friends were so happy...in those days I could eat 10 eggs a day...everything was an adventure with me, kids did not want to go to sleep just be with me...my generation lived without tv's or gadgets and imagination was crucial for fun...

Finding antique medicine bottles all year to set up a table when ever a neighbor was having a yard sale was good money for us kids, i loved it when id sell a rare
bottle for $10 in 1970, that was a lot of candy and toys from the yard sales π

In comunist times there were "duty free shops" for turists and in their shop windows we got glimpses of western products like toblerone, kinder eggs, sunglasses...
One of my little childhood friends when she found smth in her attic we would ask her: where do you have tge sandals from, where do you have tge glasses from? She with answer with her little nose up: from she shop! πππ
