What was a book you were made to read for class that ended up actually being one of your favorites?
For me it was The Outsiders. I read it in 7th grade and loved it so much. Couldn't wait to go to English class to find out what happened next! And the movie - don't even get me started! It's one of my favorites and has such a great cast!
"Stay gold, Ponyboy." 💔😰
@placidSquare9564 We had to read that one in 8th grade! Loved it, but our teacher made us read it so slowly that it took 6 months to finish it... it got so boring at that point since it took so long! One that I enjoyed reading though was Delirium!
@placidSquare9564 ether because of whin-dixe or Brian's winter
I love Because of Winn-Dixie!!
@ThatChristLover
I haven't read the book yet, I only watched the film adaptation a few times :0 I liked the storyline though
I think I might read it soon now that you mentioned it friend <3
It’s a cute story! It’s a bit more for preteens rather than teens but I still like it :3
@placidSquare9564 same

It is not my favorites but I did like Stranger in a Strange Land.
@placidSquare9564 I absolutely LOVED 1984. I'm not really sure why though. I feel like that book just kind of spoke to me, and gave me another point of view on how this world is functioning. It also kind of, in some ways, told me to not trust the people around you.
@placidSquare9564 Probably Fahrenheit 451 or 1984 by George Orwell. Maybe I have a thing for dystopian societies.

'Caddie Woodlawn' by Carol Ryrie Brink :)
