What was a book you were made to read for class that ended up actually being one of your favorites?

For me it was The Outsiders. I read it in 7th grade and loved it so much. Couldn't wait to go to English class to find out what happened next! And the movie - don't even get me started! It's one of my favorites and has such a great cast!

Not a Book, really. A Shakespeare Play - 'Macbeth' - years ago as a Senior in High School
Since that time, I read and read it and watch any film adaptation of it that I can find, Roman Polanski's version (directed shortly after the horror of the Tate LaBianca Murders). Raw and Murderous it is, being my favorite that II have seen thus far..
