🎁 Make A Gift Day ~ BEST gift! 🎁

221Skye December 3rd, 2015
A looongg looonggg looooonggg time ago, there was a Whovian with a silly knitting-obsessed bestie. Aforementioned bestie was FANTABULOUS at knitting- like as fantabulous as Simon Cowell is at being a meanie, and Donald Trump at being err Donald Trump (no seriously, no one can TRUMP him at that #SoGood). So, while this Whovian daydreamt about long-lost planets and astonishingly good-looking timelords (hehe), the bestie KNIT HER A TARDIS! A pretty, cuddly, hawt TARDIS.
And that, ladies gentlemen and jealous whovians, is the story of how I received my most fantabulous gift.

So, now I ask you~ What is the bestest brightest fairest coolest gift you have ever made or received?

Tangible, intangible, big, small, fabulous, understated, blue or a weird scary yellow~ whatever it is, let's appreciate all that love, and passion, and happiness stored in a tiny gift β™₯

Tagging some memberoonis and oldies and teenninjas to get the ball rolling! @amazingrea @YayyySphere @pray4theheartless @ZizyTheTurtle @Jelle @Chevy81 @QuickJazz @DoNotMicrowave @Raylen @2015ihope @cristiana33 @NewRomantic677 @Forgiveandforget16 @Char1998 @SimonTheGr8

The best gift I have ever received was a picture done by my big brother. I have had it for a long time.. I maybe got it for my 9th or 10th birthday? I am not too sure, but anyway. It is a silver framed picture of my name in graffiti, my brother is amazing at drawing (he is becoming an architect). Each letter is filled with my name in tiny, and it is full of colours. I absolutely love it and will treasure it always, it has been in my room forever. That same birthday he also gave me a ripple and a wispa - both English chocolates because he was worried it wouldn't be "enough", I am not really sure why it was such a meaningful gift to receive, he has given me drawings before, and handmade things for me too. but that one I guess was just at a time I needed a sign that someone cared about me.

best gift ever- my boyfriend decided we should go somewhere ~romantic~ as a random present surprise (his attempt at trying to be spontaneously romantic, I tthink?) @amazingrea and @221Skye will be happy to know that we ended up getting lost- he made an #EnoMove and we got caught in a rsony downpour to add to the facepalmy-ness of it all. Why does this earn the title of best gift ever? because it was probably the most romantic thing ever walking into Starbucks completely soaked, laughing, and realising we didn't even need a special -ambience- to make things romantic. ❀ All we needed was each other! Also this hilariously badly make hanky from my BESTIE that she gave to me in fifth grade. Alllll the laughter.

Ahh, the memories.Nice thread TWINNIE ❀

Well hmmm , let me think … Ah got it ! The one thing that comes to mind is definitely this …

Seing as y'all know I'm crazy , you do right ? :P You shouldn't be surprised that my alien family is full of crazy geniuses too . It must have been my 11th birthday or so and my older brother made a surprise for me . So anyways , he woke me up at 6 or 7am ( normally an unforgivable offence ) and he , my other brother and me all sneaked out into the garden . I think we climbed out the window ( don't judge XD ) so's not to wake our parents up by opening the door . Anyways then my brother showed me this birthday surprise ! FIREWORKS πŸŽ†πŸŽ†πŸŽ† !!! Okie so now's you's wondering where a 14 year old kiddo got fireworks from and why's he was setting them of at 6am in the morning without parental knowledge or consent XD .This would probably count as a parents worst nightmare :P ! But anyways , my brother was an absolute genius when it came to science stuffs and he was obsessed with fireworks ever since he was a tiny kid so … he had actually made the fireworks all by himself !!! They were AWESOME , a firework rocket I think and then a firework that fired 100 shots , that one was BEAUTIFUL !!! That is one present I'll never forget ! It was kinda extra special seeing as me and my brother never got on as Kiddo's but he still made me such an amazing surprise ! And if you were wondering whether we set something on fire :P woke the neighbourhood up or if our parents ever found out … Nop :D it all went brilliantly without a single accident or problem ! Which means that the moral of the story is let your little kids play with fireworks at 7am in the morning … JK XD it was a silly thing to do in a lot of ways but at least it went okie and it's a memory I'll never forget ! So now y'all know my family is a bunch of crazy aliens πŸ‘½ but my brother has got to be the coolest alien ever β™₯

I had to think about this for a minute, then i looked around my room and it was pretty obvious

The best gift I have ever gotten, EVER, was a gift for my 16th birthday, from my Mom

Once upon a time many many months ago (okay fine, it was like, May, but still) me and my Mother were at a store, when I spotted the most beautiful thing in the entire universe. You guessed it - a stuffed animal. A giant, neon blue stuffed octopus, almost 3 feet tall, and with the biggest derpiest eyes and the most adorable little derpy smile. I immediately grabbed him and hugged him super tight (HE'S SO SQUISHYYYYYYYYYY) and I was officially in love. I named him Oscar, and I carried him around the store with us, but I knew in the back of my mind that I would have to let Oscar go before we left, because sometimes stuffed animals are (ridiculously) overpriced, and this was one of those times. Finally, I had to release him back to the toy section, and go home. This went on for nearly a month, every time we would go to the store I would immediately go and check that he's still there, and carry him around the store until it was time to go again. In fact, I did this so often that the employees of the store started to notice, and when Oscar got moved to a different display, an employee told me as soon as I walked in the door (which i thought was super duper funny). I knew eventually Oscar would get bought my someone, and I dreaded the day that I would come into the store and my big fuzzy octobae would be gone.

Then came the day of my 16th birthday (you guys should OBVIOUSLY have my birthday memorized but fineeeeeeeeee i'll tell you, it's in the beginning of June, over a month since I found Oscar) I had school that day, but when my mom got home from work, she told me she had a surprise for me. She made me close my eyes, but she took me out to our car, and sitting there in the passenger seat (strapped in like a person, because my mom is a dork) Is Oscar.

BEST. PRESENT. EVER. Let me tell you how amazing this octopus is, he's squishy, cuddly, derpy and adorable, he's better than bread. Bread, I tell you, which is pretty darn hard to beat.

Now you may think it's sort of silly to get a giant stuffed octopus for your 16th birthday, some kids might have gotten a car, or a new phone, or something like that, but can you snuggle with a car or a phone? No. I'd pick Oscar over any other gift, any day.

If you want to know what my derp of a octopus looks like, look here. (isn't he so flippen adorkable?!)

@pray4theheartless

I don't know who the people are who don't want a GIANT octopus named Oscar, But I don't ever want to meet them. #2spooky4me. It is all about the cuddly toys. Sea creatures, even better.
