Limericks/Poems about the brain (Join the Brain Awareness Day activities!)
Creative activity: Create a poem, limrick or song about the brain!
Example would be:
"A neuron was once in the rain,
It said "This is really a pain",
It said to its friend,
"This must really end",
So a message was sent to the brain."
(Comment with more upvotes or the one more liked wins!!!)
Get creative! Let's encurage brain awareness :) Tag someone else and dare them to join in!

I never really write these kinds of things, but if I'm tagged I can't stay behind, so I've written a little silly limerick .
The brain is so mysterious and true,
being involved in anything you will ever do.
Handle it with care,
stretch it if you dare.
But be careful because you only have the one.
It's all in your head -- well, of course it is,
but knowing that won't make the serotonin move any faster,
knowing that won't make my body any lighter
when I try to heave off the fatigue at 2 p.m., still in bed.
It's all in your head -- well, of course it is,
the migraines are only worsened by the rain,
the tense emptiness rattling my chest
is only a by-product of stress, of the deprecating voice in my head.
It's all in your head -- well, of course it is,
the enemy is an infiltrator, a worm in my ear,
a dampness in my lungs,
it's holding the neurons hostage.
I get it. It's all in my head.
What I want to know is how to get it out.
Does brain matter much?
Or is it the heart that thinks?
No matter, right now.
I tried and wrote a poetish kindda thing.
It's all a work of art,, the brain is an art.
the pain and the sorrow is like,
a false work of art.
nothing lasts forever,
your brain is making a kindda art.
you'll be alright honey,
the sorrow in life is a part.
you're beautiful and good,
believe me its all in your heart.
you're just perfect sweetheart.
I tried and this is all I could do.
