I am who I am

Life is like a poem,

For poems are used to verbalize emotion

Therefore my intent is not to depress, but to express.

I want to be loved, 

Yet I don’t feel that I deserve it.

I want to ask you what you think of me,

But I don’t know you and you don’t know me, 

So why the *** should I care.

Yet I do care, 

Too much…

I dream that one day I will love me for ME,

And not for anybody else.

I dream that I’ll have high self esteem,

And not high self doubt.

First I need to become familiar with vulnerability,

Before I can start gaining stability

I will be happy.

But just not all the time,

For I am human.

And I am who I am for a reason.
