Coping statements
Hello group! Let's help each other! What are some coping statements, affirmations quotes...you name it, that get you through difficult situations?
I'll go first: "Do your best" "How hard can it be?" "Your feelings are not a reliable compass. Ask questions or take a step back." "You've done harder things."

Thanks for the interesting question. 💜 These are some things my mind sometimes blurts out on its own that seem to help:
"It's okay"/"It'll be okay"
"Let's go"/"Let's do it"
If I'm feeling really sensitive or overwhelmed, I find that I want to stop using words and I'll tend to get drawn to physical sensations or start imagining sound and let myself get immersed in it.

big one for me IS (it ok not to be ok)
when you mess up get up and start were you let off. a social worker gave that one to me. due to i thought when i messed up i had to start over. but she saying i do not have to start over just get up and move on from point i messed up.
another one is ( no one perfected so do not expected your self to be) this one really helped me a lot due to as a kid i was expected to be perfected at things
