heyyy!! yes the kitten in my pfp is one of my new kittens. that is farley and he’s the softest thing i’ve ever felt haha he also has a brother spade. spade is nearly identical except spade has short hair. i got them about two months ago. they are still small but have grown alllllot since i got them lol omg ur so right they are the cutest roommates in the world. it comes with a lot of little work and chores to do but its easily worth it.
so the plant i have to get rid of is the Tiplant. it got really big and the red color is amazing. i grabbed a couple tropical foliage plants over the summer. i think they make the house look and feel nicer.

@raymond1203 i had to look up the plant, but it looks sooo beautiful, love the pink on it, most of my plants are just green. wish i could adopt it lol, eventhoug i woulnd have space for it. Im good rn actually, having an okayish day. not bad but im having huge problems in general to motivate myself to be productive or do things im not perfectliy comfortable with like figuring out how to get forward with uni etc, but im trying. Butttt.. it snowed today so much, yesterday too. everything is white and i love it, looks so beautiful. and it doenst sow often here, especially this early. normally i would expect a little snow in January/ Febuary so this is a nice surprise. Hows your day going? How are you today?
whoa that is rly early for snow. i love the snow. i don’t mind getting out there and shoveling either lol it’s a great physical workout and it also helps clear my mind. it got cold here quick but it’s still very much autumn weather. i hope we get snow. the last few years we only get prob 2 or 3 good snows. but we used to get a ton of snow lol
aw i wish i could send you this plant. i need to figure out what im doing with it before it gets too cold. rn i have it outside bc i dont want it to hurt my baby kitties lol

@raymond1203 hi, it s morning now, and its snowing again.. third day in a row:) ik im a bit obsessed but its kinda wild, i like it. ur right, nice fall weather is perfect hoodie weather, perfect for cozy clothes, just a nice fall jacket and ur good to go:) but still im way more of a summer person tbh. hate the cold and darkness of the winter, so im even more glad if it snow, then the cold is at least worth it haha.
im mostly into indie/alternative, hiphop and pop music, a bit of rock too. But i have to say i almost exclusicely litsen to german artists haha so i dont know if you would know anyone, some of them sing in english tho. just listening to juice world and i kinda like it. i know some songs and they have a nice vibe, ive been searching for more english (indie-)artists lately anyway so thats nice. what kind of music do you like apart from that?
Today i have to get some things done im kinda anxious to do, writing emails, applications etc. i really hate this stuff and often i fall into the bad habit of not getting anything done if idont know exactly how.. lets hope i can get myself to something today... hope youre having a good day, hope youre doing good

it’s very early morning here. i actually have the day off. i plan on fixing up the house a little and spending time with the kittens. we are still in the bonding stage. farley is still very scared. but i am making very good progress. having them has really helped calm some of my anxieties. it keeps me busy and they are soooooo cute haha 😍😍
are there any german musicians you think i should check out? my taste in music is really all over the place lol i like all types of music. even if it’s a language i don’t know. it’s all about the vibe in the moment.
@raymond1203 thanks, you are much more confident with me then i am... cause i know how i am, but anyway ill try... Im jealous of you bonding with your kittens, its so cute when they trus you more and more, im sure theyll be used to you in not time. I actually have a few geman artist i really like but some are a little bit nieche. also most of them are at least halfway good because of the texts. im a huge fan of emotional and a bit melancholical music. If you like indie at all try "giant rooks" theire songs are in english, they have a nice vibe to listen to in the background. Another one is "Leoniden" its a bit more like rock?/punk-ish with indie/pop? their music is a bit more uplifting, eventhough they have some deeper texts. really love both also both are reallyyyy good live bands. Ill have to look out for more englsih artist cause other then a few all other are in german haha. tell me what you think ot them

bonding with the kittens has been a lot of work but it makes me feel good. they are so cute it melts my heart. and the daily chores really help clear my mind.
@raymond1203 well thank youu hope i can live up to what youre saying.. i have to say, cuddling with kittens is like the best task i can think of haha. (iktheres more work to it tho) but like you have to do it, so you cant feel lazy, youre bonding:)) i like hiphop too but listen to it rarely, only one german rap group which has kinda offensive and funny lyrics haha, its an exeption to my music taste but i love it too. Im now litsening to giant rooks again for a longer time, cause i reccomended it to you and im glad i am. thinking back to the concert, it was soo beautiful... are you a fan of concerts/ festivals?

very very tired today. can’t seem to wake up lol no work today so i can’t complain. omg yes cats do whatever they wanna do hahaha i was supposed to get a haircut yesterday but got stuck at work. my hair is a mess rn lol and bc of the holiday coming up idk if im gonna get a cut until wednesday. thursday is thanksgiving and im very excited. i’m gonna go see my sister and her family and ill help my bro build the swingset we got the kids.
@raymond1203 i have that too sometimes its hard to really get going and im staying kinda tired all day, but its good you can stay at home then. Tahnksgiving is coming up right? We dont celebrate it here, but ik its a big thing in the us. Are you getting together with the whole family? Thats gogga be excotins, sounds like a lot of fun with kids etc.
thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. it’s just a big feast day. there’s parades on tv and in the city. locally the fire departments around here will all get together and do a big parade of fire trucks with santa clause on the last truck lol the kids go nuts. my nieces are 3 & 5 and we have so much fun together. i need to do some shopping bc uncle rayray can NOT arrive with out gifts hahaha i work for a big german company and they really hook us up for thanksgiving. since we all can’t get together for a big family meal they send us good food all week. i love talking about this kinda stuff so if you have any questions def let me know 🙂
@raymond1203 thas sounds like so much fun. I dind know theses parardes and the fire departments are involved. santa at the end seems random haha, but i guess thats souppose to start the christmas time? lots of traditions. before we eat we all say grace (prayer) and things were thankful for. then there are traditional dishes people make. #1 is a 30lb turkey 😂 i’m serious. then it’s a bunch of other foods. ham. mashed potatoes. sweet potato’s. like A LOT of food lol football is HUGE on thanksgiving. even the local high schools have their rivalry games.
wed before thanksgiving is known as the biggest drinking day of the year here lol mostly bc all of the college kids and hs kids are home and almost everyone gets off for the holiday
friday after thanksgiving is BLACK FRIDAY 😂 lol people trample people for sales at stores like best buy and walmart lol

omg yes 😂 some people try deep frying a turkey and it’s a legit problem. if you deep fry a FROZEN turkey it will cause a very very big fire. there are multiple stories on the move every thanksgiving. the turkey will taste good but not good enough to burn your house down hahaha
german food is so good. i have a big sweet tooth and i love coffee so a stroopwaffle is amazing haha
yeah i have become obsessed with this juice wrld dude haha 🤣 crazy story tho. he passed away 2019. super younge but suuuuuuper talented. he could freestyle for an hour straight (freestyle rap is when you make up a song on the spot..it’s very hard to do it this well). it’s all on YT. this normally isn’t my kinda music at alllll. but his lyrics are amazing. he’d tell this beautiful little emotional story then at the end you’re like WAIT DID HE JUST FREESTYLE THAT hahaha

@raymond1203 the snow is only a few cebtineters thick, not much, we barely get more snow. Mostly im im happy if its snowing snd the snow doesnt melt immediately.
So what food did you buy at the gernan market? What is that even lol? Like a german supermarket? Im curiois what other countries percieve as typical german food. Honestly id have teoble to say wjat food is 100% german. There are definetöy some dishes but many depend highly on the region too. So there are A LOT typical german dishes that i dont know becaise theire just not popular in my region. Btw. Is there like typical american food? Besides burges and fast food? Cause that what i would think of with american food.

the german market is just lidl lol we don’t have many but there’s one very close to home lol work is meh. corporate is popping in bc of the holiday coming up. i try to stay out of their way as much as i can.
oh so you just got a coating of snow. that is the best bc it looks nice and is not too much inconvenient.
american food is terrible. it’s sad. don’t even read the ingredients haha there is sooooo much fast food and take out food like that. luckily my sister has a very nice garden but the stuff in the store is pretty bad. you have to be aware of what you eat and most people (especially in my area) don’t pay attention to that kinda thing.

@raymond1203 ahhh okay, i knew thers aldi in the us but also lidl, nice. so american food is pretty much what i expected sady then.. but its so nice your sister has a garden. thats the best food straight from the garden. our family has a vegetable garden in our garden too, with many herbs and a few vegetables, i love picking sometihnig fresh out of the garden to eat it:)

you can def find good food here but the bad food is everywhere. it’s much harder to find good food. it is very sad.
@raymond1203 are you already shopping for christmas gifts? maybe i should too... i have no idea what im gonna gift, its the same every year i just have no good ideas. and my fathr (the worst to find gifts for) has his birthday just after christmas, so i need to come up with two ideas. also i LOVE getting gifts IF i have a good idea which i know the person is gonna like but thats hard to find,, so i really have to think hard... We've been decorating the house with christmas decor and light chains so far, now it looks so cozy. i gotta decorat my room with some cozy lights as well, i really love the look of may small lights instead of one big one. i aready put a light chain along one of my trialing plants which goes along the side of my mirror. then im good do some cleaning and just relax a bit. Its reallyy coldtoday and i hathe the cold so much lol. much more of a summer person... but with some decoration and a chimney in the living room its half as bad:)
I heard that fresh food is rare and expensive at yours, i have to say its nice that we have access to quite good fresh food to an okay price here, gotta appreciate that

omg yes access to good food at a good price is so important but a lot of people here don’t know that. they don’t know how much better you feel when you eat good. and it is just easier for people to grab a quick thing to eat even tho it’s not very good for them.

my family is great. they can be frustrating haha but i love them very much. it was not always like this. for a couple years we didn’t talk. i didn’t like myself very much and cut myself off from everyone. i still have the occasional day where i don’t like myself but for the most part things are pretty good now. my relationship with my family is really great. i just need to work on my relationship with myself. that’s where ive been struggling.

I appreciate you being nice to me, but its not really justified. i havent been doing much tbh and i had enough time to relax. so in theory at lreast i really could have done better, i just didnt. thats pretty bad, and i hate myself for it, and still dont change anything about it. hope i can do it as fast as possible. I just know actually working onmyself and getting forward in life will be a bit scary and ill be exremely lost and anxious and unsure and i guess thats holding me off... still no excuse.
i don’t want you to hate yourself for this. it’s a very small thing and i think you are strong enough to do it. maybe try writing down your plans and hanging the note where you can see it. so it reminds you. if i can help at all let me know. i def suffer from the something similar. i feel like i have to always be doing something bc i spent soooo much time doing nothing and now when i look back it feels like time wasted. so even if its something small like cleaning my house or doing laundry i gotta do something so i dont hate myself.
ok so on a scale of 1-10…my relationship with myself is prob a 7. when i was with my ex it was literally 1 lol but ive done slot of work since we broke up and lately i have been feeling better and better. i’ll have my backslides like everyone does but for the most part im doing alright rn.
i am very excited for my haircut haha i missed my last appointment (felt terrible about that) my hair is a wild mess right now hahaha

But rn i feel quite good again. I cooked a nice dinner and me my father and brother build a huge wooden star with a light chain on it for the garden as decoration, and surprised my mum with it. she was really happy and it looks really good so im happy too. also had the first mulled wine ("Glühwein") of the year haha its soo good. Do you have that in the us? cause i dont think so? maybe its a german thing.

@raymond1203 ohh thats a pity you dont have mulled wine. its basically hot wine with spices and its sooo good. from now on till christmas there are christmas makets EVERYWHERE and there are many shops with mulled wine and you just go there, drink mulled wine, maybe shop a bit etc. (or buyi t in a bottle and heat it yourself)

it’s ok to insult yourself sometimes lol i totally get that. honestly i do it too much and i should also try to stop. you are right…sometimes i believe it too. i think thats normal. sometimes we don’t feel our best. but that does not make it true. i think even when we think bad of ourselves that actually we are really good 🙂

@raymond1203 well thats the thing, wher do i start.. i wanna get my room cleaned up, i need to write an application for an internship, research for other companies/ instirutes for a possible internship and i should reach out to professors to ask them if they have connections or a tip for me.. but thats more a mental thing which i cant getmyself to do... ahh and i should think about my car key.... I lost my keys on a concert a few weeks ago (still so frustrated a bout this) and there was my car key on it too. luckily i still have a spare key. but now if i lose that one too im ***. so i wanted to get a new second one, but the guy gave me an offer and it costs 300 (!!) freaking euros to get a new key and it takes a few weeks too. i dont know if i wanna spend that much money for it... ahhhh if i just havent lost the keys :(((
ok i hear ya. that’s a lot. def can feel overwhelming but trust me you got this. start small, maybe a little cleaning/organizing the room. a fresh room helps clear the clutter in my mind. and if that helps it can also help with what you want to write in your applications. i think calling the profs would be too much for me. i kinda panic and shutdown in them kinda situations.
i know it can be really hard to get started. that’s normal. happens to everyone. but once you get started you’ll be flowing and feeling great. before you know it, it’ll be over and you will be so proud of yourself.
find that perfect song to get you moving and vibing. sure you have work you wanna do but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself and have fun with it.

if it feels too overwhelming them def take a step back. you’ll def get there. don’t stress yourself. if you wanna take the day and just chill then that’s fine too. it’s important you keep yourself in a positive place. these things can be so stressful and that’s not how it should be.

@raymond1203 hahaha yeah we are all some kind of vitims of social media... have fun doing what you like today:) i am a fan of youg but im just a beginner, started beacuse im really not that flexible and want to improve that, should do it more regularly, it relaxes me so good too. i started jogging too and like it usually (kind of a beginner still too) lately im feeling a bit weak and its coldd so i havent ran much for a while. last run felt so bad, i couldnt do much and that kind of demotiveted me again... i feel like after i had a cold i didnt come back into running. I played volleball as a kid but not anyomore. what sports do you like?

yoga will def help you with flexibility. i did it briefly and it helped so much i felt like i was walking taller lol and it just really helped me mentally. it helped me calm down bc sometimes i move too fast lol i like all sports but i haven’t followed a team in a long time. im not that invested but i very easily could be bc when i watch sports i get a little wild haha
jogging is great but you have to be careful in bad weather. you could slip and hurt urself bad and the weather can make you feel terrible for days after.
i rly like where your head is at. you have great plans and i think you are productive. def more productive than the american slobs im surrounded by lolol

im not really invested in watching sports. eventhough i have been to the stadium a few timeas as a kid with my brother and father and it was nice! they are both soccer enthusiasts (at least to wach) as like every male german haha. i only like to watch the word-cup or europe cup games, that are the bigger soccer events almost everyone watches and they are fun:) i gues youre watching mainly american football??

so black friday nowadays is rly nothing. it was in the 80s-90s-00s. that s.hit was crazy. specifically the cabbage patch dolls (80s) and tickle me Elmo (90s). that’s a wild yt hole to fall into lol just an absolute mob of moms hahahaha but now stores do the sales weeks in advance so it’s nothing now.

no it’s not mean to say. i def haven’t clicked with every listener i tried. the one im using now is iight. i had one for a while that really understood me and how to speak to me. but that person had to step down bc of personal reasons. that was a bummer. it’s hard finding a good listener

these kids have so much energy this is crazy lol next door to the house is high school football field. they have a big rivalry game every thanksgiving. apparently both sides of the stands cleared out and everyone started fighting each other lolol this town is brutal lol fighting for high school football is insane. i may be crazy but at least im not that crazy haha

@raymond1203 i dont have plants outside tho, just inside plant but with toe lesser light and dry air doue to heating they can easier get pests or die/ drop some leafes.
hes cooking risotto with fish and as a starte somewhat of a fish-soup he made from the loftover cuttings from the fish. tehy also have that in the restaurant he works at

@raymond1203 im not going out as well today,idk its so typical for me, i couldnt really decite on what to do. I also kinda ghosted my frieds in the group, so i dindt even say if i would come, but i dont feel like it now. it wouldnt be a big thing anyway and only few would come anyway. ik it would be better if id go out more but id dont knowwww. there are the insecureties and self isolation again lollll. i also idnt wanna sak anyone to drive, they dont really like to drive me at night (which is understandable), my mother is a bit sick, she has a cold and my fahter is kind of down for a while now too. not too much but its noticable. i think he worries about me and also about some financial issues, hes retiring soon and then have less money, also argues more with my mom, shes often stressed with work too. so everything a bit meh... i mean everythin is still fine, really but theres are some issues on the side which kind of affects one a bit. so yeah gonna stay at home today which is fine too, maybe ill go out tomorrow.
The gym after work sonds good, but maybe think about if youre realisticly going to go ofte nafter work. I think id be exhausted after work and often skip it. But if you think youll get through with it, then taht sounds like a prefect plan
wow i am very similar with going out. it’s cool but i still end up bailing on friends. id much rather hang in. i don’t need to go places to have fun but then i get a little sad that i dont do anything. but life is good. aside from a couple small things. the big things are behind me so i need to just enjoy everything i can while i can.
it’s very sweet how thoughtful you are of your family. you are a very nice person.

@raymond1203 we studies together and were roommates for like a year thats how we know each other. but we dont have much contact for a longer time now only here and then mwe meet up. i think she doesnt have much friends and is more a familiy person and wanted to invite a friend. she also has a daughter already and ill problbly meet her this evening, im excited. athough i must say im not that good with kids lol. but its cool to meet her:)
