I’m slowly trying to eat toast. VERY slowly… But I’m glad I’m eating. I’ve had 1+ pieces of plain toast since about 2pm yesterday…

I’m trying. I’m drinking water and Pedialyte, which gives your body electrolytes. Hopefully it helps :)

It’s a drink with electrolytes. They may not have it in Wales, it may just be American.

Once upon a time, there was a great warrior who was diagnosed with cancer. No one really knew his face or his name, but they appreciated him for the things he did, like beating people up in the name of justice. Which, is honestly super illegal, so he did it anonymously.
So, he knows that he doesn't have long left, so he goes to visit the people he's helped in a disguise, so to speak. He's made his face and outfit look different, and he acts different, but he catches many of them in one-on-one dialogue, and something about him reminds them of the mysterious person who beat evil people up to help them. They end up telling him all kinds of stories of just how much good his actions did, without them knowing they were really talking to him. At the end of the week of these conversations, he feels really tired , and at the end of his rope, but he feels at peace. Peace in body, mind, and soul. He's proud of the difference that he's made, and he's ready to slip away to the next life.... He goes to bed and falls asleep...
He wakes up the next morning feeling relatively good. It's when he's brushing his teeth and considering what he wants to do with the day, that he gets a call from his doctor. It seems that they were misreading some of the results, and he still has a fighting chance. He was on the fence before of whether he wanted to go through chemo or not, but having found his peace, he decides to give the treatment a chance.
He makes it through, months and months later, he's back to his old self and he wants to give something back. He wants to go back to the people that he made a difference for, and let them know the difference they made for him. He's finally ready to let them know who he really is, and stop being an island of a person just to avoid risk. In doing so, he ends up making several very happy friendships and retiring from his anti-hero work to spend the rest of his life being happy and connecting with those he cares about.

Then he lost his job and his apartment and the repo man was trying to repossess his car. He tried and tried to pull him self up by his bootstraps. He tried to learn new skills and find work, he even tried to go back to work fast food. Finally though he found a way to make some money. He was so happy, but that didn’t last. Turns out it’s illegal to make your own money. Let this be a lesson kiddos. The end.

I just came from the doctor and I have gastroenteritis. Did bloodwork and a urine test too

Nah, it seems more of a waiting game. The urine test and blood test were for other reasons, I believe.
