Whew! I'm all caught up now. I already mentioned my ADHD... my family situation changed a lot when I was growing up, and I moved a lot. I didn't know how to build and maintain friendships, and it didn't help that my mom didn't let me spend time with friends outside of school. I grew up being a people pleaser, so for a few years I was the teacher's pet. Deep down, though, I thought I was stupid and was very envious of my super smart younger sister, who received more attention than me. I'm one of 4 kids, btw. Long story short, I grew up with a lot of insecurity and frustration that I've only recently begun to understand. My undiagnosed ADHD held me back in some ways. Now, I feel like I'm trying to catch up. It's hard, because I'm growing up in so many ways in a short time. Being a mother without all the executive functioning skills that others have is like constantly treading water, on the verge of drowning. Thankfully I've gained some confidence over time, and I'm not alone.

*giant hugs everyone in the confusion of the discussion*. It sounds like you're doing really good at parenting l, so don't second guess yourself. You're going into it with a lot of difficulty, but you're doing your best. That's going to make a big difference

@easyScarf7950 don't worry you've got friends here ❤❤ you got us😁 and it's clearly easy to see how much you love your baby, your a great mum, so never doubt that ❤ but yeah it must be frustrating for you having adhd😥 gives you a giant tiny hug ❤❤ and don't worry just check in when you can, we know your busy being a mum ❤

Lol, you guys definitely have the hair part right. The gorilla chest part too honestly. I have wonderful guinea pigs. And I obtained a stuffed walrus the other day. He has a goofy grin. Also, I dont have weird feet, and I don't dress like a hippie. I stand out enough in my regular clothes. 😂 I probably look gay or like a stoner half the time... Neither are true about me.

Heheh, it was a gift. Yeah, I kinda stand out with my geeky or band t-shirts and my wild hair. 😂 My shoelaces might look slightly unraveled too.

Laurel, Tiny was trapped in horrific conditions for most of her life, and only got rescued 5 years ago. She was never really taught anything much, so she's HUNGRY to learn EVERYTHING about life and the world and everything else! So please, send pics, teach her stuff (even basic stuff), etc. She wants to learn it all!
Tiny, what would you like to learn? Laurel knows a lot about nature stuff, plus more <3

Letting everyone know... I'm not sure how much I'll be on this week or so. Maybe a lot, maybe not much. One of my absolute best friends was in a car wreck. He's in critical condition, but it's looking optimistic. His skull got messed up, but his brain took minimal damage. His (ex-ish) wife didn't make it. His kids are doing better, but they got injured too. His 10 year old son had a similar injury but not as bad... His daughter might have back damage and a broken collarbone. The guy that hit them was in a high speed chase with the police, and he was going over 100mph. I got to talk with the kids. I saw my friend and he seems pretty stable, but he was completely sedated.
I’m so sorry, honey… If nothing else, write to me on our one-on-one chat and I’ll share updates with the girls. Let us know how we can support you <3 I prayed for him <3

And don't worry I'm not great at telling the time either, trying to work out maths and stuff is so hard. I guess it's easier for kids to learn, but as a adult nothing sinks in🙁

Nah, it’s just kinda hard in general sometimes. Lol! I had to drop stats a semester or two ago. After the first couple of weeks, I didn’t understand a dang thing they were talking about XD

Baby is really interested in standing! He has pulled himself up a few times already, and his balance when he's just holding onto my fingers is improving!
His favorite thing to do is to scrunch his face up and breath heavily through his nose with his mouth open! He looks like a fierce little beast with his one little tooth!
