Laurel, Tiny was my first-ever real friend on here. She has the hugest heart and cheers everyone up just by being her <3

I can't really think of anything embarrassing about Kiara, but I was surprised to learn that this sweet girl that wears elastic waisted pants listens to heavy metal!

I think that's exactly the right kind of mission statement in raising a child. How old is your kid?

Mt kiddo is 8 months old! I enjoy hiking and embroidery. I've been doing a few stitches here and there on a project that I started in October. I'm finally almost done.
Aww, you're just getting started then. How is it so far?
I love hiking too, why does no one else I know seem to? It's fun, you always seem to find something interesting too.
What's the embroidery project? That one's taken a while, congrats on sticking with it!
I think the last time I went hiking with Laurel (years and years ago!!), we found a newt <3
Oooh, nice, I never see those anymore! I found a turtle last time. Actually, it was why I was inspired to paint that turtle carrying fire on its shell.

Laurel, this chat is a safe place where you can vent and share your struggles. We’ve been through hard stuff ourselves, so we will love and encourage and comfort you <3 You can even be super goofy if you want! These two are the most loving and understanding people ever. You’re safe saying anything you want <3
You can write at any time of day or night. If you write in the middle of the night, Tiny will likely be around because she’s several hours ahead of us. Torean will be around during our daytime hours, give or take.
And yes, you’re allowed to write, “This baby is driving me CRAZY!” without being judged. Hehe

Thanks! Sleep training the baby is reducing my and my husband's stress a great deal. I thought that having him cry for a long time would stress us out more, but we're able to go to another room. My sanity is being restored! I'm not certain that I have postpartum depression. I think I just have accumulation of 8 months worth of stress that I haven't fully dealt with properly.

So I wanted to share some of the stuff I’m struggling with, so y’all feel comfy opening up and sharing here (if you want to, no pressure) <3
I have Aspergers, ADD, OCD, mild Tourette’s, PTSD, echolalia, insomnia, deep depression, anxiety/panic attacks/GAD, an eating disorder, and anxiety-induced anorexia, along with other things. Yeah… I’m a mess XD

I was only giving my emotional symptoms lol. If you wanna go for physical, let’s add carpal tunnel, asthma, high arches, varicose veins, migraines… The list goes on lol

@jesusredeemedme2425 ok so mentally I have cptsd, anxiety, depression and emotionally unstable. Physically um well I'm only half a person🙂
But right now I just want to be with my son😥 it might sound stupid, or ridiculous. But I love him I just want to be able to hug him, see what he looks like. I want to know how life with him would be, all the amazing things we could've done, if only things had been different😥 I failed him as a mother. And that really stings😭😭😭
That doesn't sound stupid or ridiculous at all. It kinda pulls my heartstrings. Sometimes the could-have-beens are should-still-bes-eventually. ❤️ I do believe you'll be re-united all said and done. I haven't heard anything about "failing him", but I'd be happy to listen, always here for you. ❤️

The day I gave birth to him, I was allowed to keep him with me in the cage, he was so perfect so beautiful ❤ I cuddled him all night. Luckily it wasn't a very cold night. His tiny fingers and tiny feet, he was really precious🙂 I got to hold him for the rest of the day and all night. Then the next morning we were both taken to the torture room😞 I didn't protect him I failed him. He was just this tiny baby😞

What in the world? You got to see him for one day, and then people wanted to see a baby get tortured...?
That's not your fault... That's not your fault at all. Nothing that ever happened there could have been your fault. You never failed him and he would never blame you.

So uh... Things I'm struggling with.
Well, I have a lot of anxiety, some cptsd of my own, I've actually been struggling with tourettes too lately, I just never know what I'm going to say or when. If I don't have Borderline, I really do have pretty much all the symptoms of it, and most have lessened, but they come back in small ways. I've dissociated before, that gets a bit scary. The worst parts are the existentialness, the loneliness, the addictions, the self-destructive tendencies, and the self-blame. That, and I literally have no sense of security. I don't know what it's like to feel safe.
