What instrument do you play?
What instrument do you play and how did u decide to pick up learning it?
@comfortableNight4463
Piano, I love the sound of music it makes very soothing.
@exquisitePeace7976 I played piano as well when I was younger. It truly is peaceful. Good job!

I play the alto recorder. I like its calm and rich sound.
Me too. Love it. Also play tenor and descant but alto is my favourite. Keeps the brain alive jumping between the different fingerings.
Have taught myself to play the flute recently as well.
I play guitar, violin, piano and drums
I'm really a musical person and I've always imagined myself on a stage singing my heart out to millions of people, i really just do it because I love to do it (:
@friendlyLychee Wow. That's a lot of instruments. I hope you get the opportunity to do that. Keep going! You got this!

I've been playing piano since I was about six or seven years old. My parents noticed that I had an attachment to my grandpa's piano, so they bought me one and signed me up for lessons.
@TheAutumnWitch Your parents are amazing! I'm glad. How are your piano playing skills now? What is your favorite song to play?
@comfortableNight4463
I'm not sure 'amazing' is the term I'd use (I'm still trying to discern if my parents became abusive over time or if they always were that way; I no longer live with them for my own safety and wellbeing), but I am grateful of the opportunity to learn piano. Admittedly, my piano skills have been pretty rusty ever since I left (I don't have a piano of my own...yet), but at my peak, I could play somewhere between intermediate and advanced levels thanks to my teacher having been a retired concert pianist. My favorite song to play is called "Mistral Gagnant", a nostalgic French tune about how one's childhood cannot be relived. Jean-Baptiste Maunier's cover of it is my favorite; you can enjoy it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EGUUQDElGw 😊
A world-renowned pianist was greeting attendees following a concert.
A woman gushed "oh Maestro, I would do anything to play the piano as you do!!!"
To which the maestro replied softly "no madam... you wouldn't".
@usedItUp lol. This is so funny.
@usedItUp 😄 Not a musician but as an artist, I can relate.
I love guitars :) I perform with a group on the weekends. I practice every day. It gives me something to look forward to and work towards.
@compassionateJet746 That's amazing. What's your favorite song to play on it?
LaGrange by ZZ Top I think, even though I make mistakes on the solo sometimes :)
