Me too. Love it. Also play tenor and descant but alto is my favourite. Keeps the brain alive jumping between the different fingerings.
Have taught myself to play the flute recently as well.

I play guitar, i love that you can make a guitar sound completely different just by messing with a few knobs and how diverse it is and all the cool stuff you can play on it

I play guitar. I first picked it up as a way to get my mind off things, but I quickly fell in love. It guided me away from depression and has taught me so much more than just songs.

I've been playing piano since I was about six or seven years old. My parents noticed that I had an attachment to my grandpa's piano, so they bought me one and signed me up for lessons.

I'm not sure 'amazing' is the term I'd use (I'm still trying to discern if my parents became abusive over time or if they always were that way; I no longer live with them for my own safety and wellbeing), but I am grateful of the opportunity to learn piano. Admittedly, my piano skills have been pretty rusty ever since I left (I don't have a piano of my own...yet), but at my peak, I could play somewhere between intermediate and advanced levels thanks to my teacher having been a retired concert pianist. My favorite song to play is called "Mistral Gagnant", a nostalgic French tune about how one's childhood cannot be relived.
