Hi Bright! 😊❤️ oh my gosh! I cannot thank you enough for your amazing forum post and also for tagging me! You have no idea how grateful I am for this moment, here with you! Everything you have said is an amazing reminder of how to be, to see, to think ,to feel, to behave, to approach life and situations (at least from my perspective). It's really kind of a moment for me right now because everything you have just said, truly fits right into my "wheel house". Wow! Seems as if you and I truly have the same mindset! Your words are brilliant and for me, I also equate them to this:
1. "Don't compare yourself to others" *high fives* 😊 We are all special and unique and have our own gifts to bring to the table. For me, Gizzie comes with a "non compete clause". I compete against no one nor do I compare myself to anyone. At best, I simply compete against myself on my last greatest "win". I celebrate my victories but then try to learn more and even see if there is room for improvement for that last great celebration!
2. "Don't worry about what others say about you" *high fives* 😊 This can be a hard thing to do, agreed but, for me it comes down to "we can't please all of the people, all of the time". At least we showed up, we tried and we tried hard. Others can have a different outlook, a different agenda, ulterior motives, or just not in the right head space at the moment. These can be painful moments if others say negative things about us as people. We can try to see if there is any value in the feedback and if we simply can't it was "a them problem and not an us problem" all along"
3. "Don't hesitate to do the thing that you ever thought might be different" *high fives* 😊 Sometimes doing the "right thing" is the hardest thing to do. Doing the right thing in the end, is harder than just going along with it all. It's a test of core values and checking in to see if your moral compass is broken or not. Again, it can be a painful moment. You could be telling someone something they don't want to hear. But standing up and not going along to just get along can sometimes show courage. Courage isn't doing something when you aren't afraid, having courage is doing the right thing when you are! Life isn't a popularity contest!
4. "Don't be the next someone others want to be, be the next best version of you" *high fives* 😊 This brings me to "many times replicated but never duplicated". (and also, see above comments) Don't try to be someone else, just be you! There is power in authenticity! Walk that path of authenticity and you just might come out okay in the end if you know who you are, what you are and what it is that you stand for. I give human beings a great deal of credit. They will see right through you if you are simply trying to mimic or take on the persona of another. It feels shallow and disingenuous. Be you, be trustworthy and honest in all of your dealings. Great tip: if you are always honest, you never have to have a good memory!
5. "You are amazing the way you are" *high fives*😊

Some people have no idea how painful their words can be 😮 people can be in pain for days, even weeks, even months and sometimes years or decades. As the saying goes: if you don’t have something nice to say, than don’t say it.
Very true, so neeeded to choose our words wisely both for ourselves and for others! They indeed are impactful and a little kindness and some thoughtfulness can go a long long way! ♥️
