2025 Week #2 Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 01/06/25 - Sunday 01/12/25)

I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.
May you all Do Well and Be Well this week.
Things are usually much harder then we think. Do your best. Be kind to yourself and Be kind others.

Hey everyone say 'yellow ' over and over again, and soon it will sound like gullible😎
@Tinywhisper11
Good morning 😇.
I'm still saying yellow and it and it doesn't seem to be working. I'll keep trying all day.🤣

@IsayUncle so gullible😂😂😂😂😂
@Tinywhisper11
What daoes the lemon say when answering the phone? Yellow, yellow anyone there?
How've you been Tiny. Is my niece taking care of herself?
We got so much SNOW! We don't usually get this much. We got a total of, more than what our total yearly average snowfall is , in 2 back-toback storms. Bawlwahawha.

My goals for this week:
1. To study for 2 hours everyday for switching the job because currently I'm barely studying for 10 mins.
2. Not eat junk from outside for more than once.
3. Focus on work and be as productive as possible and not run away from work.
4. Complete one novel instead of using *** and YouTube.
5. Take all medicines on time.
These goals are pretty tough for me to achieve but I hope sharing with you helps me to achieve.
Please pray that I get a new job pretty soon.
@kindFlamingo747
You can really do these things. Stay focused and if you derail a little bit get back on track and stay at it. Try not to worry about the little bit you may have lost will be proud of what you hung onto, and keep going.
I said a prayer for your employment 😇. I'm sending you a little extra luck. 🤞

Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers 🙏🏿 @IsayUncle

I basically have the same goal as last week. To survive the week. I got my phone bill paid and made another payment on the hospital bill. Now if I can get ahead at work so I can get the class assignments out of the way...

Today I'm feeling a bit low. A recruiter said day before yesterday that she would call me yesterday if my profile gets shortlisted. I guess I shouldn't have been too honest with her, she didn't. It was a good company now I'm applying for every job posting. Feel like I'm not gonna get it but I'm not going to give up this time no matter how hard it gets hopefully. It's hard to work towards something where the result is uncertain but I will try hard to not give up this time.
@kindFlamingo747
Hi Kind, I'm sorry to hear you're bummed out a little bit. It's hard not to be after that dissapointment. Don't be too hard on yourself, and keep doing what you're doing. (Trying... 😉)
Being too honest about yourself can be a real problem. Not because, you personally have a fault or are doing something wrong that causes them not to hire you. It has a lot more to do with other people. I find a lot of people are extremely judgmental so if you say something small about yourself, it's possible that the recruiter can take that little thing and turn it into a negative and dissaproving mindset.
Even though it's good for us to be honest with our recruiters / potential employer, it's probably not a good idea to show your underbelly, or your weaknesses. Unless it's a practical thing about the job (not yourself) that you're being honest about. So they know, you will work hard to improve in a certain area because you know it's important for the job.
Try not to get discouraged and remember every employer wants a worker that gets the job done. You are that person. You can get the job done!
And your job (Right Now), is to flood your world with applications, phone calls, interviews and (lots of follow-ups) etc.... and the obvious will happen.... you will get a job! You are working hard at it now, so continue to show your grit. You got this.
What kind of work are you looking for? Do you have a strict pay grade you want to achieve?
Have a great day and stay at it! 🙂

@IsayUncle
Thank you for believing in me. It is making me believe more in myself. I mostly have support implementation experience however the demand is of the pure implementation ( developer). Yes I have an expected income on my mind which is it should be 30% more than my current income. It's really important for me because then I can focus on other aspects of my life and this year my company gave 0 % hike. A month ago I was doing good, I was going to gym to feel better, studying had a bf but then I sprained my ankle, lost motivation, bf said he doesn't seem we have a future together so are are trying to get over eachother now. So this is one thing that I really need to fix my life and then focus on personal goals. Also I didn't score well on the entrance exams for masters so switching job is only way to make up for it
@kindFlamingo747
You're welcome.
Your life really turned around on a dime. A Lot of changes all at once. 😢. You are facing it head on and fighting to move forward. That takes a lot of guts, so good for you. 😀
An injured body part can really sink our ship sometimes. It seems like you fell victim to that, and it's hard to stay motivated when you can't walk or you're in pain and your day just ain't normal no more.
I hear you making real good use of your time. It's pretty smart to make the moves that you're making right now, while things are in flux and you can make changes.
It's understandable, that it's very hard and discouraging at times, 😥. It's really hard to stay motivated when things feel that way. Just know and believe in your gut that you are going in the right direction..... Hang tight, You're OK and you got this.

How are you? I hope you know we as a community are so proud of you and how far you’ve come, and admire your motivation and dedication to yourself!! You are loved, supported, and thanked endlessly
