Mindful & Reflective Writing Exercise

kindLemonade September 12th, 2021
Hello everyone, Lemo hopes that you are having a relaxing weekend ~

Recently, I've been re-discovering the joy of writing after joining the 7cups Content Development & Marketing program. I used to fear the writing process but not anymore. That's why I'm so grateful that 7cups has enabled me to fall in love with this healing and fun activity again! heart Writing can be beneficial to us in many ways and I would like to invite you to join me on this short mindful journaling exercise.

5 writing prompts that you can try out in less than 30 mins
  1. Sit quietly and just think for five minutes. What thoughts go through your head?
  2. Sit in nature for a few minutes. Listen to everything. What do you hear and what do you feel?
  3. What are the three things I spend most of my time on every day?
  4. What things in my life cause me the most stress or anxiety? Can I change them?
  5. What can I do to become more present when I spent time with people I care about?
Do you have any other reflective questions for mindful writing? Please share here with us! I'm planning to set a 30 minutes timer to do mindful journaling today, what about you?

@GoldenRuleJG

Hi there Golden, this is such a profound and interesting question. I think sometimes I'm not in touch with anger. I tend to "stuff it away" so to speak cheeky I'm more in touch with the feeling of gratitude lately because I've been practicing daily gratitude journaling.

What about you?

@Elizabeth7117

That's nice key word there, Elizabeth! Self-care is my top priority this month and mindful reflection is indeed very important to the self-caring process like you said!

Do you journal?

@kindLemonade
I journal sometimes. Not as much as I would like. I'm thinking of trying out Bullet Journaling. Have you tried that?
