I would say not trying at all. Don't give up !! keep taking chances in life be determined at the least you tried and that matters an counts.

It depends. A lot of failures can be turned around and can help growth. Some might just be bad, and hopefully it's not too big a deal. Personally, I'll actually jump at the chance of trying almost everything. I'd rather not limit myself to the same successes my whole life, it's good to branch out and grow.

I think, momentarily, failing feels worse than not trying. If you don't try, you can still say that it could work out if only you tried. If you've failed, you've failed.
Many things in life or people don't offer second chances, so 'try again' is often not an option.
