What defines a great life for you? This is a great question to reflect on!

I define a great life by feeling content and living in harmony with nature and my surroundings.

How about you?

@amiablePeace77Thank you for sharing your perspective on this topic. I believe that definitions can vary from person to person, which is why exchanging ideas with others is so beneficial. It helps us gain a deeper understanding of life, beliefs, and values, fostering an environment of tolerance and growth. For me, a great life involves a sense of purpose through contributing to the greater good, establishing meaningful connections with others, and personal growth. Mathematically, I would express it :

a great life= win(I)+win(you)+ win(society/world).

Great question. I imagine this could take some time to really delve into.

But my first thoughts are, living a life where I stand up against injustice, where I hopefully get to live a good life and not one of punishment for trying to do the former, with loved ones whom I'm able to take good care of, and able to take care of myself. Something to build towards which outlasts my life, which won't be destroyed by the greedy, duplicitous, violent, and hate-filled. I wish to be a light to others who are struggling, to see the hope return to them, to spread wellness. First though, is trying to restore my own functioning and well-being. The systems that be keep me trapped in a toxic and destitute situation. But perhaps there can be opportunities for freedom if I can make connections and focus on protecting and caring for myself. Safety in numbers, and all that.

Great question. I will be thinking about this more on my own in the near future. Thank you!

A great life, for me, has changed over the years as my life has changed.  Right now, a great life is me, no longer anxious about everything, my son happy and living his best life, my husband and I pleased with what we've accomplished and how much more we can accomplish.  My family doing well.  No one suffering.  No one sad.

Just calm.  Peace.  Joy.  That's all.

A great life consists of various needs we have in life. …. From surviving to thriving and changes throughout our life.

I am retired so downsizing is something I am working on. I love spending time with my partners and living an authentic life and volunteering in various community groups. I like my simple life and adding JOY in small ways everywhere. Health as I age is super important as well.
