Mother's Day
The official Mother's Day holiday arose in the 1900s as a result of the efforts of Anna Jarvis, daughter of Ann Reeves Jarvis (US). Following her mother's 1905 death, Anna Jarvis conceived of Mother's Day as a way of honoring the sacrifices mothers made for their children.
This Sunday, May 9 2021 many countries celebrate Mother’s Day, so today I like to give you the space here to share something you are grateful for to your mother, a nice memory or something you would like to tell your mom

Something I would say about my mom is that she has been there for me and helped me in so many different ways, and has been someone I can talk to whenever I feel like it. Despite the differences between us, she has unconditional love for me.

I just love my mom. And while our relationship is not a perfect one (as Nobody has that)!,... I wouldn't trade her for any other mom. And she is the greatest cook ever! I have so many memories of just the two of us together throughout the years. And just glad to have my mother in my life. I know there are those who can't say the same things. So I am very blessed to have mine.
I love my Mom so much even when all I can muster to do is be affectionate through actions since I'm not used to expressive my love for her in words. She loves me through all my bad times and good times even as her stubborn child. I always appreciate her feedback and advices -- they are meaningful and I will hold them in my heart forever. She is supportive of the family and loves us unconditionally. She is a strong woman with a force that cannot be reckoned with.

My mom and I have not had the best relationship especially because a lot of things that happened in my childhood because of the things my mom experienced, and that caused her to not have been the mom that she should have. However, now that I am older I can empathize and understand that even though certain things should not have happened she tried to do the best she could. I know it was not easy for her and she was overwhelmed and confused (not that it makes it's ok) just like I was. I do appreciate that she still tries to be there for me no matter what, even when she does not agree and approve of what I am doing and thinking.
