Mindfulness in nature ideas💡!!

Shimmersofhope January 23rd, 2021

🌸Walk barefoot on the grass 🌸pick a flower or something you found in nature and hold it in your hand,what can you notice about this ? How does it make you feel? 🌸sit down somewhere outdoors, perhaps under a tree and take slow deep breaths 🌸go on a walk and notice what you can hear,see, smell and touch Let me know if you tried any of these!

Whenever I'm taking a walk at the nature reserve just outside town, I like to stop every so often, close my eyes, and listen to what's going on around me. I can hear the birds, the wind, the tree branches swaying. It's very relaxing and gently forces my mind to be in the moment and away from so many thoughts. Being out in nature really reminds me of humanity's most basic connections with the world around them.

HI Dreams good to see you here! Listening to nature's sounds is so mindful isn't it? The wind, the birds, the trees. This is great that you take a moment to allow your senses to observe things around you and it makes you feel relaxed. Thank you for sharingheart

HI Sail nice to see you! Yes walking by the lake has so many things you could be mindful of. I love focusing on the water and what is in there. Silly but fun!

@Shimmersofhope

HI Hope thank you for this mindfulness awareness activity. It is Winter here, but I have noticed that even while driving how pretty the trees are with snow/frost on them. How the ground steams as it is warmer then the air. Even though it is cold here there still is beauty in it all!

Hi @Shimmersofhope !

I have tried all these:

Walking barefoot on the grass,

sitting down somewhere outdoors. I prefer a banyan tree and

going on long walks
