How do you break free from negative thoughts I know it is sometimes hard to do but in order for us to have a peaceful and calm time it is something that needs to be done.

Negative thought can interfere with out daily life, interfere with our sleeping and have a toll on us physically and mentally. There are steps we may take to help us not continue on with these negative thoughts.

I feel relaxed , less anxious and more calm.

Before I felt like I was bearing too much on my shoulder. Now I feel less pressured.

Hi, I wish to point to a superb series by @Hope about dealing with negative thoughts by systematically identifying and challenging false pessimistic ideas that arise from "Cognitive Distortions" (ways of thinking biased to the negative).

The series consists of 10 threads, all linked from this masterpost (click to go there);

This is a thorough methodology for "chopping off" negative thoughts, I strongly recommend it to anyone who really struggles with this issue.

After replying to all threads, you can submit a form to receive a certificate for participating in this activity. The deadline to get the Certificate is January 12, 2025.
