When I was challenged in the past by not being myself, my response was a mix of what society wanted me to be with society-forbidden rebellion :)
Today my response is diplomatic rebellion - that might land me in 7 Cups Jail! lol
When I was challenged in the past by feelings or negativity my response was let it bother me
Today my response is whether it is journal writing or meditation and mindfulness I learn to look for solutions to the problem at hand and work on it for me to deal with the situation at hand and come up with a goal of getting over it and keeping it in writing on how I worked on making the goal positive.
When I was challenged in the past by not understanding my feelings or rejection my response was to withdraw or self harm.
Today my response is that I understand my feelings and just because I might have a difference of opinion with others, it doesn't mean that I'm being rejected. I choose to live my life acknowledging that there are many lessons along the way and that everyone is entitled to go at their own pace.

Oh wow, this prompt really made me think.
When I was challenged in the past by social anxiety my response was to become as invisible as possible.
Today my response is to challenge myself and be unappologetically me. I'm still not a social butterfly but I challenge myself to initiate conversations, relax and not overthink it and be ok with saying something silly or fumbling over words some times or laughing out loud and just being ok who who I am even if it is awkward at times. 😊
