Dear Mindfulness Buddies!
Happy Monday!! How are you? I just finished my CDM coursework today. Whew! I thought I will repeat the program again from start. Anywho, how are you all doing so far?
For our check-in for today:
1. Is there any activity or task that you've kept on failing in the past that you have accomplished after multiple trials and errors too?
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
Alrighty! I hope you are all safe and sound. Have a wonderful rest of the day guys!! π Here is a cookie for all.
@crang17 Hello ! Thanks for the cookie !
1. Is there any activity or task that you've kept on failing in the past that you have accomplished after multiple trials and errors too?
I had to order tools for my studies for months and I kept pushing back from stress but I finally managed to do it yesterday π₯΄ I'm still stressed
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
I don't have a favourite book ! I don't read much
Helloo @butterlycow, thank you for responding! Congratulations on managing to get those tools for your studies. I can fully understand how it feels but yeah, sometimes, we just need to get it done, right? With books, it is okay if you do not read much. What about a movie, a podcast, or a video that you like? ππ
@crang17 thank you !!!
About videos I like many but I don't remember one in particular.
I don't know many movies neither but I liked the Joker ! And a Korean movie named Poetry.

I love your posts and your cookies crang π
1. Is there any activity or task that you've kept on failing in the past that you have accomplished after multiple trials and errors too?
Oh yes crang! When I built things I need in the house it can be challenging. One of the things was a kitchen bin with automatic opening system (just the type you operate with the foot). It took me a while to understand how the system has to be done and I made mistakes. I was getting annoyed with myself for not understanding a simple system but I kept on trying and trying and it worked out fine at the end.
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
I usually like to read about psychology, how the human body works because I find it fascinating.

This question makes me think of many times in my years of being a musician that I've had a hard time singing different songs, and ultimately rise above those challenges every time.
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
Brave Story by Miyuki Miaybe. It's the perfect blend of fantasy, and covering real world sensitive topics like divorce and suicide.
@crang17
HI Crang-umm posting a plate of delicious cookies like that is a sin lol.
1. Is there any activity or task that you've kept on failing in the past that you have accomplished after multiple trials and errors too?
I love to do arts n crafts. I've tried for many years on doing oil paintings of people. It is very hard. But last year I managed to finally do a picture of my mum who past. It was almost 100% like the photo
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
Ladies of The Bible. This comes in 3 books. I love it. It keeps me as a person real. When I do something wrong (sin) I can go right into the books and find who did this 1st and why. I like things from way back yonder that helps me become a better person from the inside first

Thank you for the cookies :)
1. Is there any activity or task that you've kept on failing in the past that you have accomplished after multiple trials and errors too?
This is a really good question! This won't seem like a big deal to some, but recently I've been getting good at driving around roundabouts! I used to always get in a pickle with the lanes and end up coming off at the wrong junction π
2. What is your favorite book? What makes you like it?
I like to read medical dramas and autobiography about doctors! They give me motivation to keep pushing myself towards my goals!
