Hi how are you tonight?

I got involved in a veteran"s online art group and set up an art desk with a good amount of new supplies so that been my go to place to try to figure out how to paint, brushstrokes, skill, etc lol I actually just discovered that just before I clean up from painting and take super macro photos of the colorful brushes and messy art :-) I need to get some messy practice. I just painted 15 gnome house birdhouses for a trail hiking club. Things have improved a lot this past few years. I just try to stay calm and grounded and get slightly involved in some of the groups. Its a nice community. I recommend this type of art therapy with students volunteers - its challenging and fun. (I'll change my icon photo on 7cups to a photo of clean used brushes

@juliak1968 Oh wow Day! That sounds awesome! It's great you found that group and found something you enjoy doing. The birdhouses sound great too - something that keeps giving back. All the little birds that will have safe places to nest this year :) and all the hikers that will get to see the birds - so cool! Stay awesome Day

Hi Thanks a bunch~ I am learning to get more involved so I can have a social life and some hobbies. I want to start up a plastic model building club, so far I have three other people interested which may be enough to get it started. How have you been? I do my little daily check ins on 7cups and some needs reply work, it helps me every night to clear the cobwebs sorta speak. I put a photo of my brushes up and will leave that there for a while today. I tend to enjoy digital art photos as much as the art itself. Take good care of yourself and lets say hi again soon!`

Hey hey Day, I'm super glad you joined the group, it does feel nice to be part of some community and to engage in something that's therapeutic, Art I feel is one such activity that can be really grounding and calming for many. Makes me happy to hear things have been better for you on this side. Anddd I'd love to volunteer at a similar thing sometime, it sounds really fun and engaging. ❤
