Uggh you try to escape here and something drags you back here. The need or impulse to alleviate something sore. Put your pride aside but you find no content in producing content in how you find yourself yet again in this spot to reside.
This is why it's important to learn to not to take it all so seriously, preferably not via indifference or an ignorant sort of humour. Humour that understated key to wisdom, difficult to entertain whereas too many think vice-versa a course to take.

I don't like how Psychforum's journal section is moderated and I'm fairly surprised by how neither Wrongplanet nor Reddit (as far as I know) have sections for journalling. Ditching this place would be easier if the prospect of immediate contact with listeners wasn't justified by my experiences.

* I get it, the family, the 'Tolkien estate' is really finicky about what gets adapted and that was before even finding out that the title names from 'Beren and Luthien' (a human males meets elf princess story where JRR supposedly projected his courtship and marriage to his wife Edith the most in it) are so personal those fictional names are written on the gravestones of the couple -- still 2/3 of the ~'The great tales of the first age' are there w/out nearly 'as much' of the context density of Middle Earth history whereas 'War of the Rohirrim' is only a few centuries away from the 'third age final era' War of the ring stuff now world famous b/c of the LOTR movies

Apparently the connections btw Azazel and Mystique got retconned and that's more recent to my mind than thinking how the connection btw Peitro and Wanda to Magneto got infamously retconned years ago to the chagrin of many including myself..not liking how they apparently lost the mutant status and were more like experimental outcomes from the High Evolutionary likely to accommodate the MCU not having access to live action X-men , even if when it came to comic changes Erik adopted them somehow ?..
