@IsayUncle if we were talking anywhere else I would just delete my last msg. I guess you like it better when I’m quiet.

@Psalm139

You would be guessing wrong. Last night I had written a whole paragraph talking about saying the wrong thing to the right people. But I had a tired mind and the paragraph wasn't cohesive, my point was getting lost in the jumbled words so I deleted the paragraph and tried to give a light hearted response to let you know that we could talk more about that today.😊 I'm kind of sad it didn't have the light hearted calming affect I was hoping for.

We do have to be careful with our words and we have to know (and trust) the people that we're talking to. So I disagree with you that it is better to be quiet then to say the wrong thing. It is 100% about trusting the other person won't alienate you because of your feelings or your opinion, and then always risking that the trust you have could be misplaced and in error. (I wish I could share it succinct and easy resolution how and when to trust people with are more real feelings)

What level of trust do you think you and I have developed for this past year?

I think we've developed a very good trust. I know when you're quiet that there are a number of things going on, whether you're angry or lonely. Often I think you're mad at me but you don't wanna say it because you don't wanna lose our friendship. That means a lot to me 💚 but if there are times that you wanna lash out, I think I can take it in the spirit of building a deeper trust with each other. Never in the spirit of arrogance and entitlement. I believe good friendships put disagreeable ideas into a Gray flexible place, not in a rigid judgmental environment.

BTW, sharing your hurt feelings does not automatically say that you are saying the wrong thing. There is no wrong in the thing itself. It only turns wrong when the recipients of the conversation turn it into a selfish argument. I think I know that's what you meant when you say you don't wanna say the wrong thing, you just don't want a bad response to something you say. If you get a bad response that does not mean that you said the wrong things. It could simply mean you happen to be talking to a complete jerk and it has nothing to do with you saying the wrong thing.

I say that with caution because it is easy to say something to hurt other people's feelings so we do have to be careful, but that still doesn't mean we said something wrong.

“In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.” Buddha

I've been saving this post for you to read for a very long time because I did not wanna say the wrong thing. I can only hope that you trust me enough to know that I'm sharing it with you wondering if you relate to some of these fears and anxieties or to even know then I'm wondering if some of your fears and anxieties are rooted in this article. I know I could be wrong but I'd like to know what your insight is about this article.

CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! I CAN'T FIND IT! Maybe another day, another time.

You can vent with me and I won't automatically become argumentative or dismissive. I will promise to listen and try to understand. I can't promise I will always agree with you but hopefully you don't get "too" mad at me because of that. I would like to have someone to talk to about pros and cons of things, not only for you but for me too. 💚💚

@Psalm139

Hey M, I'm sorry I haven't been here for you much lately. 😕. I'm getting lost in my own woes and I haven't listened to you as much as I could have. You said you are just going through the motions.

Do you want to share what's going on? Or maybe not right now.... or maybe not here? Is that what it is, do you want to chat elsewhere? I know we touched base on that earlier and I didn't want to compromise you at home. Is that upsetting you?

@IsayUncle This week seemed to go by so fast. I can’t believe it’s already Friday. For Easter we went to Des Moines to visit Justin’s family. We stayed in a motel and I couldn’t sleep so I was so tired.

Then we had a plumber come on Monday to get some work done that needed to be done before we can do the laundry room.

Some workers are coming on Tuesday to measure for carpet. We have really thin, cheap carpet that was in the house when we bought it and Justin wants something nicer. I will like it too, of course, it don’t like people coming here when he’s at work.

Justin made plans to visit his dad next week for mushroom hunting and then his dad will be coming here the last weekend in April to help with the laundry room. We also have belt testing that day.

And swimming starts Monday again. So busy here too! But I missed talking to you! I was just confused and didn’t really know what to say.

I hope you have a good day…any weekend plans or projects?

@Psalm139

I'm confused too and don't know what to say either.... except, i am so glad to hear about all the good progress. especially about hiring a plumber to kick start the laundry room project!

I am happy to hear you are maintaining your activities. 😃👍. I'll just be fixing tractors and planning jobs. No students this weekend. Morrel mushroom season is here now for a few weeks but I won't find time to hunt them.

Have a good evening. and good luck on your belt testing. That's awesome.image_1681507004.png

I did my 290 goal, now shooting for 287.😜

@Psalm139

You didn't do anything for me to be angry about. I figured you just needed other priorities to tend to. I was hoping you were staying on track and it sounds like you are. That matters a lot.😊.

I do not have enough time in a day to let anger be a part of my psyche. I've trained myself to not let that enter.... there's enough other things to fill my day. from Amazing to Sad and Depressing..... and then the day is done. Anger serves no purpose but to make me feel bad.

“You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger.” Buddha {ANGER}

“Those who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace.” Buddha {ANGER / FORGIVENESS}

“In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.” Buddha {ANGER / SELFISHNESS}

“Whenever you are angry, be assured that it is not only a present evil, but that you have increased a habit.” Epictetus (see Aristotle)

“Reject your sense of injury and the injury itself disappears.” Marcus Aurelius {ANGER / FORGIVENESS}

“We are all full of weakness and errors; let us mutually pardon each other our follies - it is the first law of nature.” Voltaire

I'm really excited for you about the laundry room. That's going to be a game changer. Keep me posted!

I'm just doing shopping and house chores, trying to regain domestic balance after so much side work stuff.

Have a great day!💚

@IsayUncle I wish I could control my emotions and thoughts better. Both take up a lot of my time and energy.

I have taekwondo with Rylee this morning. Master Nixon is trying to pressure everyone into doing tournaments and I don’t want to and neither does Rylee. It’s super stressful that he talks about it almost every class.

After taekwondo I need to do some cleaning too. I couldn’t sleep well again last night so I probably will need a nap. Fun plans, lol.

I feel anxious. Idk why. I hate it.

@IsayUncle I’m ok. Thanks for asking. Sorry about your microphone. So you have to type everything now?

Yesterday was ok. Taekwondo was good. I took a nap. Then was watching tv but Jax was running back and forth and super hyper so I took him and most of the other kids for a walk. It was getting hot in the house too and making me feel claustrophobic, especially with him running around. I got a little cleaning done too but not enough. I did go through and pick out some boys clothes to donate.

I wish I was as good at food prepping as you are. The dishes make me not even want to cook. I need to get that under control.

Do you get to rest today? Sounds like you have been busy!

IsayUncle OP April 16th, 2023

@Psalm139

I have to prep ahead because by myself food would spoil. It's a pain in the but* and takes up way too much of my time. I like cooking but it still sucks all the time from a day. It'd be all consuming with a large family.

Spent/wasted a couple hours trying to fix microphone problem... no luck😕

Thats good you got out for a walk... I'm washing dishes now.

@IsayUncle I wonder if you just hit a button and turned it off? Did you check settings? If not, maybe you could find an external one?

You are always so motivated. I need to force myself to get my dishes done everyday. They are just my least favorite chore so I tend to do everything else first!

I’m tired as usual but awake too early. Jax is in bed next to me. He’s been coming here in the early mornings after Justin goes to work. He said a cat was on his bed, lol.

Hi M, Our chats are getting to be more distant but I wanted you to know I was thinking about you and I hope you are doing good. It'll be nice to check in on each other every couple of weeks or so. My speech thing started working, Because - who knows why? But anyway I like using it.

I hope your tornado season is coming to an end, the laundry room is getting closer to being done and you and the kids achieved your white belts. I still think you're doing amazing with your family.😊

I'm getting trapped more and more by my side work. Driving around doing job estimates, helping customers with FEMA, trying to find other contractors for customers like plumbers and electricians. It all goes with the territory when you're working with people and trying to get work, they have no idea how much time they consume out of your day by just asking for a direction to go.😕. There's a part of me that don't mind it because the more involved I stay, the more I can get organized and learn and charge more for things. But, just money is not really my goal.... Anyway, blah blah blah.😂

I gotta try to finish up my FEMA estimate today and get it submitted through a website. The customer had 60 days to put this together but then just waited until the last week for some reason. Everyone seems overwhelmed these days.

Did your husband go hunting for Morrell mushrooms? Those are a big deal around here and this is the week everybody is looking for them. For the next few weeks actually. I got some on my property and my ex comes and looks for them. I don't have time for such leisures but I could have a lot of fun doing that.

Anyway, please don't worry about staying in touch everyday because I'm having trouble doing that too but remember that I think of you often and hope you are staying strong and doing well. Don't forget to keep me posted when you can.💚, and I'll do the same.

IsayUncle OP April 27th, 2023

@Psalm139

Hi M, How have things been for you? I saw you're still getting some cold weather and I was wondering if you still have tornado worries. I hope all that is passed.

I have had a couple of crazy weeks. My side work has taken on a life of its own, the yard is getting monstrously overgrown, I haven't been able to spend time with the students on Saturdays, but I continue to hope that everything will level its way out. The kids on the bus are acting 100% better and so that's a big relief and, I can't believe it but, there is only 20 school days left. Woo Hoo!

I reached my 287 weight and am in a relaxed mode for about a week, but not crazy. Then I'm gonna shoot for 285 for seven consecutive days. It's a constant pressure, for sure. Like you said earlier; one or two pounds a week will do it But staying that persistent week after week is kinda hard, so I give myself small breaks in between.

So what's going on with you? Are you OK? I'm still curious if you got your white belts, and if the laundry room is coming together. Mostly I hope you are ok and that I'm not intruding by staying in touch.

@IsayUncle I’m ok. I and the kids have been sick a lot in the past couple of weeks. I’m just now starting to feel better. I guess we are being exposed to all the germs now that we are getting out more.

We did have some cold and windy days but no bad tornado threats. It is warming up now.

It sounds like you’ve been busy! Exciting about your weight loss and only 20 school days left! When that is finished hopefully you will have time to catch up on your yard work and other projects.

Justin has been slowly working on the laundry room. He said maybe it will be done in a month.

Our testing is on Saturday and we will be “low yellow” belts. I’m excited to not be the very newest students anymore. We have been going a lot (even being sick) - 4 x a week.

I miss talking to you a lot but I’m glad you’re doing well. Thanks for the message 💛

It's good to hear from you too. 💚 I'm glad to hear things are still moving forward. Glad you all starting to feel better, the only positive side of getting out and getting exposed like that is that it does help build the immune system. But I am really sorry to hear everyone was sick, that's not fun!

I got up pretty early this morning to try to get all my personal paperwork done. I've acquired a new layer of paperwork with my side work doing estimation quotes, login customers names, and trying to get all that from a notebook pad into an organized repetitive system. Being self-employed for so many years in the past, none of this is new to me but it's still a pain in the ****.

The DBT ladies talk often about mindfulness and admit they're approach is not FULL ON.... But I think it helps a lot more to go deeper than what they do. Here's a great youtube I found and maybe you might like it. It's really long, so maybe, better taken in segments. (It's an audio book)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFwqX_2jMgA&t=3950s
Parts of this might be too much but key moments are very enlightening. I'm not sure it's your thing but figured I'd share it. 😊

I'm really glad to see you too. It'll be fun to get updated. 😊

IsayUncle OP June 15th, 2023

@Psalm139

Good morning,

Soooo..... nothing has really changed for me much. I'm not driving summer school so for the past two weeks I've been clearing and leveling more land. I had a storage building and now I have a large quonset shelter also, next to the building. With this land I'm clearing...... I will FINALLY be able to move all my salvage and bricbrack away from my house and living area. So that's a good thing.

I've maintained 20lbs off my weight and still working on a couple pounds every few weeks.

A beautiful young dog came to my property a few weeks ago... very distraught, weak, bony with a hurt leg. I named him "BB" and he has mended well. He is a Whippet Rat Terrier and the life of the party for the rest of the dogs. Very playful and active.

Like I, said earlier, nothing really has changed. I'm still struggling with finding a comfortable zone so I'm still just working and working and trying to get to a good space. I'm glad you said hi. So you are still pretty tired a lot. The vitamens will help for sure and it's probably both, physcological and physical. You have such a large family to work with. And I know when my brain whirrrs and whirrrs it literally exhausts me more than physical labor.

Have an uplifting day today!😊

@IsayUncle I understand about you needing to work when you can. Outdoor work can be hard when the weather is all over the place.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I kept looking but couldn’t remember where our messages were and couldn’t find the notification. The format is a little different than before.

You seem happy in your messages. Are you? I hope you aren’t just pretending. You don’t have to pretend with me.

I am happy sometimes. But sometimes it’s just overwhelming still and I get the bad thoughts. I think it’s just my brain. Then I want to sleep.

I went to church yesterday and then made steak and potatoes for Justin for Father’s Day. And then Rylee and I made a banana cream poke cake for him that he really liked the last time we made it. He was in a bad mood all day though. He doesn’t like holidays that make him feel forced to do things and I think he felt guilty because he didn’t feel like calling his dad. I hope he is less grumpy today because it’s hard to stay positive when he is like that.

I did buy the Mario movie for the boys on Amazon because the price to buy finally went down to $20. They loved it. Jaxon wants to watch it again today💛

How was your weekend? 💛

IsayUncle OP June 21st, 2023

@Psalm139

I'm also sorry for the delay in responding. They did change the format since we were on here before but I'm starting to get used to it.

I'm not really happy but I'm not really pretending either. I think I'm just maintaining a logical emotionless lifestyle right now. I'm hoping that if I keep pushing in a positive direction I won't end up in a negative place. Maybe not a happy place but maybe not so much of a negative place, if that makes any sense.😶.

Not much has really changed for me much, I'm still just doing hoping to find a zone that I'm comfortable in not doing so much all the time but until then.... Same ole same ole 😅.

That's too bad you had a grumpy person that you went out of your way to cheer up show some appreciation. It really is hard stay positive or upbeat in a situation like that. Like I started off with, sorry about my delay in responding but are you doing OK now? I bet the Mario movie with the kids cheered you up😀.

My weekend or actually the past two weeks have exhausted me. I opened up a huge part of the other end of my property with a couple of access roads and another storage area but I was working from dawn to dark because I was blessed with dry weather and if any rain came before I finished it, would have just messed me up for weeks and probably months depending on the weather. But I finished everything up (or to a good stopping point) this past weekend so you could say that was an awesome weekend.

The air brakes on the dump truck was really getting bad and getting dangerous to drive so I brought that into the shop and that's gonna cost $2000, oh that's a scary debt to pay. The big backhoe blew hydraulic cylinder so that's gonna take $100 in parts and $100 in special tools and a couple days to fix. But when all that is done, they'll be better pieces of equipment to use.

I had a student come over and do some weed eating and the weed eater broke while he was using it but I got the parts for that and that was just $25.

😖 Does it ever stop, M? 😫...... it's ok 😉... it has to be.

So, are the other kids still in Taekwondo. And what is the status of the laundry room?image_1687377448.png

@IsayUncle Good morning 💛. It seems like you have been making tons of progress on your property lately. That’s awesome! Did you take any more pictures? It would probably be satisfying to see the change over time with all the hard work you’ve put into it!

Im sorry for all the financial setbacks and repairs. Justin just spent over $2000 on repairs for the 2 vehicles he drives and they still need more work. And no, unfortunately I don’t think it ever does really end😕.

With those expenses our extra money in our bank accounts is dwindling so I’ve been trying to save money wherever I can. I’ve been making Justin’s lunches and bought his coffee and energy drinks through subscribe and save on Amazon to get a little discount. I switched myself to a cheaper coffee too. I cancelled our YWCA membership- this will be the last round of swimming lessons the kids have for now unless we qualify for financial aid. I am going to apply and see though.

I’ve been cutting out a lot of snacks we buy too. That has been an easier transition than I thought it would be! Rylee and I are baking our own bread and making cookies and things for the kids and Justin to snack on. And of course our homemade pizza night that is super cheap and everyone likes! We cancelled some subscriptions too - Hulu and Apple TV+. The goal is to be able to continue taekwondo. Hopefully everything works out!

No laundry room yet and work is stalled for now until we have more money😕 But yes we are all still doing taekwondo. It’s really been good for my mental health. And Rylee’s too💛

Here’s a cute video of Jax lol. Hopefully it will make you smile! Have you ever played Super Mario? He’s doing the dance Mario does at the end of the level haha!

Hi M, I know what you mean about the extra money dwindling down. It's happening to me too and it's worrisome. That's really good that you can try to find deals on things and save some money making your own snacks and lunches. It's too bad about the YWCA. Are the kids gonna miss the swimming lessons. What is really good though, is that you got them used to the water and learned them how to swim so that's that's great. Hopefully, the financial aid will work out.

I think it's pretty amazing that you can manage 6 people on the limited budget that you have. And offer substantial quality of life. That's fantastic, a lot of people cannot do that. It's probably one of the reasons you're tired a lot because that takes a lot of work and brain energy. 💚 Good job😊

is Riley struggling with excessive depression. (you've been mentioning how much you been interacting with her), ow is Jax catheter situation going?

Yeah, thanks for the video. That was really cute.😀. I was 21 years old when Donkey Kong came out and it was a big hit and all the rage. And then Mario brothers and then Super Mario. And I can only remember a few times I played with any of them for a couple minutes over a friend's house or something like that. That's great though that the kids love it so much.

Here's a couple of before and afters on the property. Have a great day today, M!💚

@IsayUncle Yeah Rylee is a lot like me. Any little thing can trigger her and she gets bored and depressed a lot. Taekwondo and baking help. But if things go wrong it goes bad fast.

She actually triggers me sometimes when she’s like that because she acts mad and I can’t tell what is going on. Then later she will tell me. I probably do the same to her.

Anyway, your property looks great and your dogs are so cute! What are you busy working on today? What are you working on today?

I had a pretty busy day today. Starting off in the morning with financial paperworks and then went to and renewed my CDL and paid for my insurances. My partner and his brother came over to the house and we fixed the backhoe, that's the one that you see in the picture above there. And so then after all that I kind of pooped out. But now I'm gonna try to get the kitchen cleaned up and I have to go put all the tools away from working on the backhoe.

What about you, what did you do for the day?

@IsayUncle Crazy you already had to renew your CDL! I remember how hard you worked for that!

Yesterday was a chill day. I stayed home except for taking a couple of packages to the post office for Justin. He’s been selling on eBay again lately.

Rylee and I made homemade breadsticks and brownies too. We have been keeping up with the dishes a lot better baking all the time. But yesterday was SO hot.

Today we have swimming lessons at 10-10:45. Jax said swimming is his favorite activity but taekwondo makes him strong. I hope I can keep him in lessons.

Still trying to figure out ways to save money but Justin is starting to get a little overtime too.

What are you up to this weekend? 💛

IsayUncle OP June 24th, 2023

@Psalm139

Good morning, 💚

Yesterday sounded like a pretty nice day, that's cool.... PUN😅. I hope the heat wasn't too bad. That's good you're able to keep up with the dishes a little bit more. Practicing a good thing they say, soon turns into a habit.... Sometimes.😏.

When I got my CDL license, the designation changed, but the expiration follows the original license. That expired this month in 2023 so I just had to go down and renew it for eight years but I didn't have to retest or do anything like that, just pay the government their money. lol. I used to sell stuff on eBay, That's a lot of work. What kind of stuff does he sell and does he use marketplace on *** too or other outlets? That's nice that you brought the packages to the post office because even that's time consuming and a pain in the ****. I hope he makes some money at it, even a little bit would be great.

image_1687624218.png You can financially keep up with the classes and activities. It seemed like it's just such a big positive energy with you now. I know it must be really hard and tiring but it seems like you get a lot of satisfaction and reward from doing them. That's cute what Jack said, "Taekwondo makes me strong but swimming is his favorite". How's he been doing with his medical improvements?

I had a busy early morning doing general housework but then I lay down about 8:00 o'clock I just got up at 12. I'm a little disappointed and I feel like I can go back to bed and sleep all day but I'm gonna try to get motivated and do my paperwork, bills and financial sheets and receipts.

How's the other three been doing, Treyton and Bentley? (I forgot your other daughter's name.) What are you all doing this weekend?

Coming soon I hope! image_1687624913.png

Psalm139 June 25th, 2023

@IsayUncle Good morning 💛.

Oh that makes sense about your license. Yep, gotta give the government their money, lol.

I do that way too often getting up early and then going back to bed. At least you were productive in the early morning! How was the rest of your day?

Bentley, Treyton, and Makennah are doing well. Makennah is 16 and spends a lot of her time in her room. She comes down for food lol. She does go to swimming lessons. Treyton is doing a lot better I think - taekwondo, swimming, church, plus a lot of online gaming. He’s still going to therapy but I don’t know how much it helps. He only goes once every three weeks now. Bentley does taekwondo, swimming, and church. He complains about taekwondo but really likes swimming. But he’s very good at taekwondo. We are trying to get him used to the bigger classes rather than the class for little kids. He’s always busy making a craft of some kind!

Jaxon is doing ok. His bladder sometimes hurts when it’s full and he wants to use the catheter. Almost always in the morning but periodically during the day too. I’m not sure what will happen with that.

I guess I talk more about the 2 that hang out with me the most! Though Treyton and Bentley are always downstairs and around us. They both give me hugs throughout the day. Sometimes Treyton helps Rylee and I with cookies or tortillas.

I think it’s normal that Makennah likes being alone considering her age. She draws a lot on her tablet and plays games. Youth group is having a break for summer but she likes swimming and is good at it😊

Justin has been making money at eBay. I don’t like the mess it makes in the house or going to the post office. But at least it’s close. Just a few blocks away. I have to report the income to SSI though so I’m sure it will make Jaxon’s payment go down. We’ll see how it all works out!

The girls applied for a job but didn’t get a call back. It was the only place in town that hires 14 year olds. But they were both interested in getting a job. I was afraid to take another thing on but I will have to eventually.

Today is church and then taekwondo - and hopefully eating leftover pizza, cheese bread, breadsticks, and apple crisp that R and I made yesterday! It’s too hot to cook!

Hey, I hope you enjoyed your leftover pizza and breadsticks yesterday. That sounded good. Thanks for the family update. It was really nice to see things are pretty constant at the moment. Still doing the Taekwondo, swimming and church and that's all good stuff. Big congratulations and a great job holding it all together. I know it's not all rose colored glasses and sunshine but the good stuff is the good stuff 😊.

That's a little worrisome about Jax. I hope it's just a normal development that he has to get used to and not a medical regression.

My sister was out traveling down South so she stopped by and is visiting for a few days here. I always want her to feel welcome but I'm still not set up real well for company. It's always a bit of a pain in the ****. You know I always have a laundry list of tasks and chores to do. All that comes to a stop when you have guests. I guess I'm just being a bit selfish here. We did have fun playing backgammon last night. My dump truck is in the garage and I hope they are going to call me to come get it today. They've had it for a couple weeks. (it's jamming us up 😖, and we need to get it back) There's an Artsy college town about 45 miles away which is close to the garage where my truck is so I might take her there to enjoy the shops and then if I get the call for the truck we can go pick it up.

In the meantime I might just have to give her a weed eater and get some yard work done. LOL😂.

Hopefully, you had a nice relaxing day yesterday. What you got going on for today and the rest of the week? I do hope you have a great day today.💚

@IsayUncle I hope you’re having a good day with your sister 💛. Try to enjoy it and not think about what you should be doing instead!

I am a little bummed about Jax but it’s ok. He probably won’t be free from catheters as soon as I thought though. I don’t know.

Today I need to take Trey to his appointment and then the litter boys have taekwondo and then all of us will have class. Rylee and I are also making hamburger buns for Justin’s sandwiches for work.

I’m feeling a little low but trying.

Feeling a little low huh? 😕. (you have to worry about lots and that will wear you down a lot) Maybe get some extra rest if you can.💚. Hope you feel better or take a lot of time for yourself tomorrow.

Good morning 💚. Feeling better?

That's too bad about Jax "if" that's the case. In all things, there's always an adjustment or transitional period and so maybe Jax has to adjust too and it'll continue to improve. When do you see his doctor again?

My sister visit is going OK. I got the dumptruck out of the garage yesterday and so I asked if she wanted to be a truckers mate today? I have a couple loads of gravel to deliver and some equipment to load and deliver. She agreed so that'll be fun showing her what I do. And that'll be about it. She'll probably leave tomorrow morning.

I hope you have an easy minded and good day today. 😊

I'm pretty much just going to try to get caught up on my paperwork this morning and do that that job stuff during the day. Hopefully finish her visit with some form of quality time in the evening.

What are your plans today and Let me know if you're feeling better.💚

@IsayUncle I’m glad your visit with your sister is going well 💛. I am not doing super great.

Last night at taekwondo the boys’ teacher was teaching the main class and he said some things that later I thought maybe he was trying to tell me something. We have been bringing the little boys on Monday nights to get used to being in the regular class and he said something about another students’ mom ( a 3 year old) and how he wishes parents would figure out their kid isn’t ready. So then I was thinking he was saying Jax isn’t ready for the regular class - even though he actually participates better than Bentley does. Idk. And he told me Rylee had really good technique and I don’t know if he was saying that I don’t or just saying that to me because I’m her mom. I don’t know. So then I considered pulling the little boys and keeping them in swimming because they like it more. Or even switching schools. There is one that is $75 for a family membership. Or one just down the block.

I was really messed up about it all last night. And master Nixon has been gone a lot lately too. So that doesn’t help.

I think for now I might just let Bentley stay with Rylee on Mondays and take Jax home and pick them up. Maybe Bentley will do better without me being there.

Sorry, that’s a lot. You don’t have to respond to everything. I hope you have a good time with your sister today. I’ll talk to you later 💛

Still visiting with sis. Yesterday I worked mostly though and she rode with me. Did a couple of gravel runs and delivered the backhoe to my partners house.

Bummer about you stressing on a Taekwondo classes. I know you want the kids going to the older class but with the professional there, I was wondering if you simply asked him if the younger kids were ready for the class. I don't know about this social ability to talk in circles and try to get a point across and maybe that's what you think he was doing when talking about that three-year old. That doesn't have nothing to do with you or your kids. Would you appreciate his advice or opinion about whether "your" kids are ready or not? Have you asked him and would you trust his answer?

You'll have to trust your instincts and I think you have amazing instincts but it's your emotional side that can mess you up so be careful about getting your feelings hurt when the situation isn't directed against you. I think it's normal to feel bad when things don't go our way. It sounds like you found a smart solution by adjusting and giving it some time to work its way out. 💚

If you trust master nixon's opinion, maybe wait till you see him and ask him what he thinks and what the kids need to do to be ready to take the older course.

I hope my 2 cent opinion helped a little bit💚

My sister is going to go visit my ex for a couple days before she heads back home. I'm glad I drew that line in the sand about not visiting together when family comes to Kentucky to visit. And then I guess my next big project is to work on my van transmission and try to get my van running. Sadly I'm gonna have to round up some side work too. I pay weekly attention to my yearly gain/loss and I am currently $2500 in the hole for the year. A Few side jobs and less spending for about a month could get me back on track so I guess that's what's in front of me. Fix the van and get some side work and then by that time it'll be time to start driving the school bus again.

Let me know how you're feeling today. Sometimes what looks so confusing yesterday doesn't seem so bad today and I hope that's the case with you about your classes.😊
