Hello!
Time for some more cat facts πΈπ
Rusty Spotted Cat ππ€
Found only in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, the rusty-spotted cat is one of the smallest wild cats, being around two times smaller than the average domestic cat. An adult can be around 41cm and weigh up to 1.4kg, a newborn kitten weigh less than an egg! π₯π±
Very little is known about Rusty spotted cats, they are thought to be nocturnal and have a reputation for being fierce hunters taking large prey - although their diet is likely to mostly be small animals. πββ¬π€
They are thought to be excellent climbers, and may hunt in trees as well as on the ground. π΄ππ³
Their size, speed and agility of rusty-spotted cats give them the nickname of "hummingbird of the cat family" (as hummingbirds are small and vigorous types of birds) π¦πΊ
Look how tiny and cute!
I love cats so much

Hello has anyone had any luck walking a cat on a leash outside?
I have tried but kitty backed out of it once and that freaked me out. I would never be able to find her if she ran off.
@convivialShade9470 i had one cat in the past i could take on walks but my other cats no way in heck. You have to train them a bit like put a harness on them and walk them around the house first till they get use to wearing the harness and leash then when they seem like they are comfortable take a few steps outside. can also set up a "playpen" for your kitty outside so they get use to being outside without a harness first. That way they wont freak when they are exposed to sounds ect outside.
@convivialShade9470
I've never tried myself but it definitely would be process of slowly getting your cat used to the harness before even attempting to go outside. I know some cats can really enjoy going on walks but some really dislike it and it causes them a lot of anxiety, so really you need to be watching what signs your cat is giving you to see if it will be a good experience for them or not. I know there's a lot of videos about this topic online about what to do and what not to do, so definitely check those out. I've even seen some people taking their cats on bike rides and they love it! But definitely not something for every cat. It's likely easier for them to get used to the younger they are when you introduce it.

Facts about the Sand Cat!
The sand cat, also called the sand dune cat, is a small wild cat that can be found living in sandy and stony deserts. They have sandy to light grey fur and are well camouflaged in a desert environment.
They are rather small, reaching a maximum size of around 52cm and weigh about 2.8 kg.
Sand cats are the only feline to live exclusively in deserts. To do so they have adapted to the harsh climate in two main ways:
They have thick fur on their paws which helps to insulate them from the scorching heat and freezing cold. In colder deserts, such as in the deserts of Central Asia, Sand Cats grow winter coats with insulating hair up to two inches in length.
The second is that sand cats do not need much water at all. They can go for weeks without any, getting all the water they need from the prey they consume.
Sand cats live primarily in burrows to escape the heat and are very good at digging, with one recorded burrow being 15 feet long.
Sand cats are difficult to find for both predators and researchers. As well as heat protection, the fur on the undersides of their paws acts as a cushion that allows the cat to walk across the sand without sinking into it, meaning no footprints are left behind making them incredibly difficult to track.
So cute!
