@adaptableAvocado8070 Yaaay and yes indeed you are right๐
@jasmineishereforu I love old classic movies. I have some on dvd and I watch them on a dvd player. I love lucy movies and tv shows, I watch them sometimes. I love black and white movies and tv shows, I love when the movies, pop and crackle, or when the sound goes out. That is funny to me. I was born in the mid 1970's. Before the internet and everything going digital. I love the internet and helping others at 7cups. But I miss how, movies had mistakes and the sound going in and out. Now it does not do this to much, because of technology, but to me it took the human element away. I remember, when I was in elem. school, and the old move reals. I remember one time, the teacher forgot, to hold the film, while the real was playing, and the flim all landed on the floor. The class started to laugh and so did I. It was funny, because it affected, the sound. It still to this day, makes me laugh. I am laughing now, as I type this. I miss, when tv stations, used to say "Please stand by." We are having some tech issues, with the movie. "Please stand by." We are working hard to fix the problem. Or when the news, had sound issues, with the story, "We seem to be having some sound issues, we are sorry." "We are working with our sound department to correct this problem." But as one admin here at 7cups, said "We cannot go back, we must move forward." I agree. But I miss the old days. Please do not misunderstand me, I love technology, it has been very helpful to me and a lot of people, with disabilities and other challenges. But life was a bit simpler. A little slower. Less hectic. If you know, what I mean. I love change, but some of it is not good, like movies, for example. This is where technology should have stayed away from, in my opinion. Please feel free to disagree or agree with me, it is ok. Please speak your mind, I do not mind at all. I would love to hear your response to this.

One of my favorites is The Seventh Seal. You know that one with death in it.
This movie has a very serious undertone and profound observations on good & evil while at the same time being funny in just the right places.

Currently it's The Thin Red Line. I find it mesmerizing.

when I was a kid the first 2 Harry Potter movies were on loop at the morning daycare/etc on VHS in Quebec dub/French. My brain has reset for comforts and likes since some months, but the series is still dear to me if I'm in the mood. Preferably alone I guess, I can't feel vulnerable with others and I get sensitive feeling nostalgia. I'd want to watch Nemo and a quite a few others again also. I've been really good at crafting new comforts and nostalgia for a bit, but it's looser I guess now. Fear kind of erased a whole lot. I've loved a whole lot of movies these last years though, wouldn't feel like mentioning any that stood out. L'Arracheuse de temps is a comfy one from here, feels like Qc urban legends
