A few favorite games:
Dirt Rally: driving full speed on beautiful dirt roads. Whaaaa!
Detroit Become Human: very moving story
Stray: you are a cat involved in a weird adventure
Sifu: very realistic kung-fu
Minimetro: minimalist, easy rules, but challenging
Portal 2: mind-boggling sci-fi puzzles with some fps
Bioshock: A piece of art of an FPS, meticulously crafted visuals and story

I obsessively play Fall Out: New Vegas with the DLCs. Right now I'm getting into Cyberpunk 2077 which has been awesome so far.

@InternalAcceptance I don't play much :P Usually party games with friends. But I do have a switch and would like to utilize it a bit more. I used to play a lot of Sims and DS a few years back. 🕹

Chrono Trigger is my favorite one. Amazing story, fun gameplay, lots of cool things to explore, sidequests to do, and even a timeline to alter slightly, and great art and soundtrack. I love the almost Dragon-Ball esque style thanks to the character and monster designs from Akira Toriyama.
