What video game has helped you escape?
So basically, which game in your life has helped you deal with things like depression, anxiety, or anything?
For me, Pokemon helped me escape during my childhood. As I got older, RPGs like Skyrim really helped me get through stuff by providing an outlet and distraction. How about you guys?
Mainly the RPG Tales of Berseria. There is something about traveling the world with close friends that puts my mind at ease.
Can we throw it back to Super Mario Brothers. I haven't gamed in a very long time but I loved that one.
Quite honestly, guitar hero 3. I've played since I was 8 years old and i am 15 now. I've progressed quite a bit and i still have more ways to come. It has widened my music taste and can help me when I feel anxious. It's always brought back good childhood memories as well.
Minecraft
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
I played it a lot a few summers ago and became really addicted to it. It really was a great way for me to get away from the stressors of life and relax. It challenged my mind, too.
@safeandsoundta Age of Conan and Second Life (needless to mention, as the name suggests, it is an escape from reality by living a second life). Other than that I also play Clash Of Clan and Injustice: Gods Among Us <3 Anyone tried any of these ;)

Final Fantasy XV
Hours fly by so much to do and so easy to get into. Characters are all cool and hilarious (Suspiciously like ninja turtles).
I've been playing Dragon Quest 8 for the 3ds lately. It's a lot of fun.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney! I love the characters and cases so far. I just to play it all night once I return home from work.
Personally what helped me escape mostly was League of Legends, for the action MOBA fans. Although it seems sometimes only to get your nerves up, I mostly enjoyed it because I use to play it with my best friend and it's really fun. It also improves your leadership, teamwork and patience skills somehow.
What I also enjoyes was Skyrim, it really has good graphics and it's good for solo playing.
none sadly..depression has made me loose the joy in gaming ):
