Introducing myself!
Hello everyone! I’m Aqua and I’m new to this sub community. I’m so excited to be a part of 7cups and participate in the forums.
I have quite a few hobbies that I tend to rotate based on how I’m feeling. Sometimes I don’t have motivation to do any hobbies for a while, and that’s okay too! I always end up coming back to my hobbies once I have motivation again.
Some of my favorite hobbies are: listening to music and learning about artists that I enjoy, collecting vinyls, thrifting, collecting squishmallows, studying astrology, collecting crystals, and taking care of animals!
I’d love to get to know other people in this community that may share some common interests with me :)
@aquastarchild Hi Aqua, thanks for introducing yourself! I can totally relate to not feeling motivated on some days, and coming back to a hobby later. I love all kinds of music, too. Squishmallows are cute and fun, and can be a great stress reliever.

Hi Lyd! My favorite crystal is amethyst since it’s my birthstone. I have quite a few amethyst pieces. My other favorite crystal is Howlite. I have found that Howlite has helped my anxiety so much, it just has a calming energy to it (at least for me). I have heard a little bit about Numerology and Reiki, but haven’t delved into them fully. Something else I have been learning about recently is tarot and how to read the cards, I find it really interesting! What are your favorite crystals?

My Hobbies are basketball, keyboards(yes this is strange), and just hanging out with friends!

Welcome! I am pleased to meet you. We share a few hobbies for sure, although my thrifting and vinyl collecting has diminished a bit lately. Same with Tarot! I saw you're into astrology and that's something I'd like to learn. I have a few crystals myself, lol.
This is a great sub-community, and I can relate to how the hobby life can reflect how moods change. I've found personally that when I get too absorbed in one thing to the exclusion of my basic self-care, I start to suffer, so I think it's very good to have a lot of hobbies! Right now that's what has "brought me back", so I plan on being a lot more active here going forward.
My hobbies include drawing, painting, poetry, a smidge of creative writing, reading, and gaming (although I gotta watch it with the gaming! one of those things that can take over to the exclusion of everything else.) OH! And making music...I love vinyl too as mentioned, and learning about my heroes from various walks of life is also something I can relate to.

@ThadSterling I Know what you mean about gaming taking up more time than you meant it to. I try to set a timer so that I make sure I am not spending too much time playing games.
I think I’m going to do the same moving forward, lol!
