💘What Mantra, Activities, Interests, Or, otherwise are Continuing to keep you "Motivated & Inspired" so far this year in your "Goals or Intentions"?!... How so?!

❄️ This past week was well, and again seemingly went by pretty quickly... I'm glad for that as I always prefer the weekends more.... Things were pretty standard last weekend as I continued in staying on track with Zumba classes, running errands, & enjoying the wonderful milder weather we had here.... (DESPITE "Groundhog's Day" prediction of "6 more weeks of Winter weather)~ ..... But it was an amazing week of (Winter)-weather here that reached well into the 70's!... On Wednesday we got to 75 degrees (Wonderful for February)!~...  At the start of the week I got back on track with all my usual work, Fitness classes, errands, meal-planning/tracking, etc... (And also continued to place more "Focus" on my "Sleep & Hydration goals"), which I seemed to do better with this past week. 


☃️  With the warmer weather this past week, I was able to continue to get plenty of outdoor time each day, as well as get in plenty of walks with the furbaby... I also continued in my 2nd attempt of the New Fitness class (that I had tried the week previously)... And so far, I am really enjoying it, (and am really "Feeling It" still in my muscles as I type this!)....... Most likely its also the instructor teaching it that makes it worthwhile, (as I recall trying this same class format a few years ago at a different facility that I also Taught classes at myself, & didn't care for it).... The Instructors & set-up of a class can definitely make the difference!~... With the warmer weather we had, I also continued to feel a few "Spring-Fever" vibes. And it was definitely good for my overall wellbeing in feeling the sunshine & warmer weather on my skin~ 


💘 This weekend ahead, intentions are to of course catch my early Saturday morning  Zumba class to start off the day, ... And to also get out & about to continue to enjoy the last bit of this milder weather we are having. (As next week ahead its supposed to get a little more seasonal & chillier again)..... Saturday there will also be an Outdoor "Valentine's festival" in a nearby area... (One of the first festivals of the year so far)... So intentions are to get out & about, check that out, while also continuing in getting in more walking & steps~ And get a few errands done as well.... Sunday on to afternoon Zumba, some relaxation time, & then prepare for the week ahead.

Hi, Ocean,

so sorry I didn't check in last week.  I've been overwhelmed.  

How is your day going so far?... How did the First week of February go for you?  For the first day this week, I am calm and relaxed, in the evening.  The rest of my week was terrible.  I don't even want to discuss it.


☃️This is our "2ND" Check-in for FebruaryAs we continue to move through 2025, What is ONE area of your life that you'd like to "Strengthen" the most this year ahead?!  I don't know.  I think I'd like to strength myself.  I'd like to find a nicer job and make better money.


💘What Mantra, Activities, Interests, Orotherwise are Continuing to keep you "Motivated & Inspired" so far this year in your "Goals or Intentions"?!... How so?!  Gosh, I want to hang in there in school.  I'm losing my interest, but I want to make more money and have health insurance.  


❄️JUST FOR FUN:.. If you could Communicate "Telepathically" to all the billions of people on earth simultaneously, WHAT is One thing or Message that you'd like to send or share?!  My thought is political, so I probably shouldn't say anything.


☃️What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?.... How were you able to work through your challenges?!  I'm afraid I don't want to talk about it much.  I need to relax my mind.

Hey there Tree~ Sorry we missed you last week as well. I was wondering how you were doing (& figured you must’ve had a lot going on with your schooling & work) etc.. Glad to see you are able to check in with us this week!

Glad to hear for you that you are again able to feel calm & relaxed today (despite the stressors of your week).~ 

I can understand what you mean by being or wanting to be able to “strengthen yourself”!.. As typically things start with “us”.. and how we are able to handle or adapt to things & situations (and stressors!) So I totally get it…. Hopefully for you, in time you will soon be able to find that nicer job for yourself and inevitably make better money. And of course, that’s exactly why you are currently in school! And you WILL continue to get there because you are a hard worker!… And nobody says it will be an easy thing. And yes sometimes we will lose interest and feel like we want to give up some days. But you know exactly what you need, and what you’re working towards, so keep your eye on the prize! 

Hopefully you will find ALL of the peace, calm, & relaxation that you need today! And rest yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally~ We are here for you.

@PoliteOcean Greg has been here 2 and 1/2 weeks. The first ten days was rough but things have settled down. I hope it stays that way. I found out my insurance company doesn't pay for tooth implants. That's very discouraging. I need 4 implants. Furthermore they only provide $1000 a year in dental benefits. Amanda re- arranged the kitchen. I really hate it.  That's not very much. Tunde is only working 3 days a week now. That's very discouraging. There is no place to read at the house. Tuesday I went to the library but didn't go for a walk because it was raining. Wednesday I had a therapy appointment with Jim. It went well. Thursday Tunde cancelled because he wasn't feeling well. Friday I cleaned up my closet a bit. One of my devotional books got mangled in the move two years ago. Friday I went to the library and worked on my finances. I also went for a walk. For this upcoming week I have a chiropractor appointment on Tuesday.  Leslie set up a bed in Stuarts bedroom for Greg. I'm extremely happy about it. It doesn't bother me if Greg stays in the living room 24/7.  It doesn't bother me if he stores some of his possessions in my bedroom as long as it doesn't cramp my style. Saturday morning I shaved. Doing simple things is an ordeal. It's those small things that suck the life out of me. There is a lot of toxicity here and I don't know how to overcome it.

Hey Regmo~ Dental companies seem to get worse & worse... I’ve had two different coverages in the past year & neither one was any better than the other. Those companies are definitely not as good as they used to be in what they cover… Thats too bad that Tunde had to cancel on one of his days with you, & that he isn’t working for you as often as he used to. I can understand how discouraging that must be… But it’s good that you were able to still get out to the library, to your appt, work on your finances, & able to get a walk in… And It’s good that you were also able to get your closet cleaned up a bit & get your shave in as well. Sounds like you had a few good productive days in your week.. As for getting your reading in, If Leslie set up a bed for Greg in Stuart’s room & he also stays in the living room often, are you able to have your bedroom to yourself & shut the door to get your reading time in? …. As far as the toxicity in the house, what has your therapist Jim had to say about things? Have you discussed those things with him yet?… And has he offered any coping skills & strategies to help you in being able to deal with the situations that are stressful for you? You said your appts with him are going well, so it sounds like the therapy has been effective for you thus far.. Maybe he can help you continue to navigate your way through the toxic situations until you are able to find a place of your own?.. Thanks for sharing your week & checking in. ❄️Hey EveryoneWelcome to the weekend~... How is your day going so far?... How did the First week of February go for you?  Morning coffee is delightful....Over night through early afternoon today we are getting 6-11 inches of snow....quite the wide range....weathermen....get paid to guess and get it wrong lol....anyway, I'll be spending my afternoon snow blowing and shoveling.....The first week of Feb went ok....could have been better but definitely could have been worse....working on positivity....

☃️This is our "2ND" Check-in for February~ As we continue to move through 2025, What is ONE area of your life that you'd like to "Strengthen" the most this year ahead?! I want to strengthen my ability to be positive and apply positive thoughts to not so positive situations.....

💘What Mantra, Activities, Interests, Or, otherwise are Continuing to keep you "Motivated & Inspired" so far this year in your "Goals or Intentions"?!... How so?! I have a diary/mood tracking app on my phone that offers daily motivational/life and mental health quotes when I fill it in each day....these help me out a lot.....

💘What is something that "YOU" want to Talk aboutAdd or Share with us this week?... WE want to hear from YOU~

I had a some xrays and blood work done Friday of this past week....I'm hoping to have answers to some things and/or more testing to get to the root of it....the question of the day is.....do I log in to my patient portal and take a look then start googling things or wait for my Dr. to call next week?......waiting for answers stinks but it is what it is....

Hey Cycling~ 

Sounds like you had a great morning with some great coffee to start off your day.. (despite having to inevitably spend time cleaning up all the pending snow ❄️)… But that’s definitely good for you that your first week of February was well overall.~ 

I think focusing on Strengthening your “ability to be more positive” is a great goal as we move throughout this year… (This is something I am “trying” to work on myself)…. And It definitely takes some work… But finding the things that not only make you happy, but also feel more happy (& produce more positive energy and emotions on the “inside”) can make it a little easier, (By latching on to those particular things, moments, or qualities and doing “more” of them)!... Including writing down at least a handful of things “each day” that you have gratitude for… And in conjunction with your mood tracking app, it sounds like you are well on your way to achieving your goal there… 

As far as the X-rays and blood work, personally I feel none of us should ever rely on medical answers from Google! Especially those of us who tend to catastrophize things or situations and see more negativity in something that may not even be there! … Hopefully as of this writing, you (haven’t) decided on your own to do that, and will wait to hear first from your medical provider for more answers in detail. While it does “stink” in the “waiting game”, I think it would put your mind more at ease?!.. in the mean time we wish you the best on your results! And that you get to the root of your situation. We are here for you at 7cups.
