Hi Im Ocean, The Leader for Healthy Living. ….Thank you for the post and supporting our members.
I just want to leave a reminder that we are not allowed to offer any “advice” here at 7cups as we could be doing more harm than good without fully knowing someone’s situation. However, we do look forwards to the extra added support & motivation!
Thanks again :)
@PoliteOcean Thank you for the reminder. I can't seem to amend the post. Can you help me out here?
@Asmodeusss
Yes I can amend that part for you. No problem :)

What are your fitness goals, and what do you find most challenging in sticking to a routine?
My fitness goals are based on my standards which are very high because to me the body is sacred and life is abundant and mysterious. So I find perfectionism most challenging.
And to me this means no smoking, no drugs, moderate drinking, an aware and active lifestyle for mind, body and spirit and routines and rituals that can keep me connected and engaged in this.
Furthermore, because of my personality and life, sometimes when problems keep going or challenges arise, especially ones that I thought I'd overcome, I can easily become lost in this perfectionism and it's consequences. There's so many distractions that can disconnect me from my purpose and passion from noisy neighbors to grief and loss.
In conclusion, finding a sacred space for me to reconnect to my passion and purpose, quiring new skills, training in new ways, doing shadow work and just accepting that everything I've been through and who I am is enough could help me be more consistent and compassionate on my health journey on the most fulfilling and deepest levels.

My Fitness Goals: My main goal is to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I focus on building strength, improving flexibility, and keeping up with my cardio goals. I also aim to stay consistent with my workout routine and continually challenge myself by trying new exercises or increasing intensity. Like I am thinking of starting swimming soon.
Challenges in Sticking to a Routine: Even as a personal trainer, staying consistent can sometimes be tough! One of the biggest challenges is finding the time to work out when life gets busy. Staying motivated during those days when energy levels are low can also be a struggle. To overcome this, I make sub goals which are daily based. Like walking at least 6k steps a day, drinking 2litres of water. That way even on a challenging day, I can still make sure I did something in the very least.
Thank you for this post. I was just thinking I need to commit to healthy eating and a fitness plan again. 🙂
For me, accountability is key. Finding a place to post my intentions and daily wins and losses is key. I would like to find a group where I can commit long-term because it takes a while to find that consistency and to create a new routine. I need longer than 30-60 days haha. I was once in a group and posting about a year. While I didn’t lose alot in a short amount of time, I lost a lot of weight over the course of the year and established better habits.
My setbacks are depression, anxiety, work stress, relationship problems. 😞 This is another reason I need a long-term group. It can be challenging to compartmentalize in order to focus on health and fitness.
@Asmodeusss Do you have any certifications for such advice?
