Self Care Roundup
Can we all share our favorite self-care activities? I'm trying to compile a list for not only myself but for anyone I meet, and think it would be good to have this on the forum!
I'll go first: love grabbing a tea and sitting in a cafรฉ and vibing to music or a book ๐

Walks and watching feel-good shows/movies are some of my go-to activities as well!

I like doing lots of Selfcare activities and generally will do whatever it is that I feel I "Need" to do for myself at the time....
From: Sitting & Relaxing and watching a good movie or show;... to Relaxing at the Lake and just watching the water;.... to Taking a Day-cation to the Beach;... to taking a Vacation away for a few days to recharge;..... to taking a Hot Bath to unwind;.... to Exercising with a Favorite group fitness class or a Walk outside in the sunshine with my Dog:..... Or sometimes simply "Nothing at all"!.....Or really ANYTHING that makes me "Feel Good"~
I sit in silence with clos d eyes or do seershana/ head stand if the time is right ..๐

After sitting at the screen for a long time,
I like to get up and do a few chores.
That gives my mind a break,
and gets me back into the real world.
And it's good exercise,
and I get a feeling of accomplishment.
Even dishwashing can be relaxing. ๐

I broadcast and DJ live music at home on vinyl/digital on ***, thats my carers break as Im a 24/7 carer so music to me is a good relaxation from caring work and it helps you connect with others in a positive way.
Sitting on the back porch, enjoying nature once in a while. The usual bubble baths, along with some essential oils, sleeping in the bed a little longer than usual. try to work from home once in a while to reduce the stress of traffic. Go for a stroll somewhere. Enjoy your summer barbecue.
Love going into the garden and seeing the loquat and fig tree ripen, and my succulents just being.
Also like watching slime videos, and wishing to have slime.
