What are some healthy snacks that are also delicious?

fireflyyv June 24th

I'd like to know what healthy snacks that are still delicious for you!

Mine will probably be almonds, nuts, and healthy variations of trail mix!

classic carrots and cucumbers in homemade ranch. the ranch isn't "healthy" per se but t definitely gets me eating more veggies

I do this too! I usually eat healthy snacks with less healthy sauces to make it a little better to eat them. I never tried ranch, so I'll definitely try it one time

@Heather225 I tried veggies with this organic  tumeric lemon dressing and it was shockingly delicious!

I personally like various fruits (like pineapples, oranges, bananas & apples).

I like to pair the following:

🍍Pineapples & cottage cheese

🍎Apples & Natural peanut butter

🍌Bananas & Natural Peanut butter.

🥕Carrots & hummus

* Celery & Natural Peanut butter

….I also like Cashews & Pistachio nuts, cheesesticks, & hard-boiled eggs 🥚.

Those are all good and delicious options! I haven't tried natural peanut butter so I'm curious as to what that tastes like. Cottage cheese is good but I can't eat it bcs I'm lactose intolerant lol

@fireflyyv

Natural peanut butter (the one I’ve gotten), doesn’t have any sugars in it. It’s only made of peanuts/peanut oil, & a touch of salt. No other chemicals or ingredients.

There’s one that you can get in the store the brand is called “Smuckers”. And it’s pretty good. I couldn’t tell a difference when I first used it.  :)

@fireflyyv I'm finding multiple brands of lactose-free cottage cheese lately. I think since it's a trendy food lately brands have expanded cottage cheese options.

If need something high in protein and complex carbs:

Greek Yogurt, some fruits, and some gornla crumbs. If you need MORE protein, add protein powder into the yogurt and mix it before u add the fruits.

If you need more fats: I recommend avocado, or a cheese stick.
