Cheriβs Connection Corner - The Walking Challenge & JOY of Movement πππππππ
Good day heslthy living Cupsers!! πππππππ
2024 is a great year to get into good habits. Movement is a great one. Walking is fabulous you donβt need any special equipment and you have choices either inside places when the weather is inclement such indoor walking facilities or malls or a walking workout at home or on a treadmill.Β
I love walking outdoors in nature. Check out resources in your community like trails and walking tracks in your backyard or even walk in your community.Β Β There is something about it is very good for the soul. It can become addictive β¦ YES you heard right!Β
Once you get into the habit you will absolutely enjoy the benefits of calories burned and how it can help meet your goals in 2024 whether that be better sleep, π΄ or toning or improved health status.Β
If walking is a habit you would like to build here is a challenge for YOU. It takes time to build a new habit so this challenge guides you through 30 days.Β
Are you a Walker? Where do you prefer to walk??Β
How many minutes do Β you typically walk and how much distance do you cover??Β
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful I love going outdoors too β€β€ it's much easier than going out WindowsππππππΒ
How are you feeling? Are you still recovering well?? Hows the Xmas lightsπ??
@Tinywhisper11
I am doing better everyday. I love being outdoors it helps me so much β¦. It is good for the soul. ππππ
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful yaaay! I'm glad your getting better β€β€ pneumonia is no joke, I've been really worried about you β€ anyways, know your getting better, if you could do double the amount of walking each day, you know so I don't have to botherπ I'm to lazy to stand up
@SunShineAlwaysGrateful
i definitely want to get back into walking daily - I did it less often once it got very cold outside last month, but I just remembered I can play RingFit Adventure on days when itβs below freezing.
Before the winter season began, I walked around my neighborhood for at least 20 minutes each day. Nothing beats taking a stroll outdoors!
thanks for this month long challenge, I hope to get started on it soon!

πAre you a Walker?...I used to be a really avid walker, but find that I also need the Motivation that comes from working out around others in a "Group Fitness" environment.Β
πWhere do you prefer to walk?.....Outside in nature, preferably with sidewalks, or paved pathways (parks, tracks, etc..)
πHow many minutes do Β you typically walk and how much distance do you cover?....I like to walk for a minimum of 30minutes~ Mileage doesn't matter to me as much as the Timeframe and Step-goal do.Β
