⭐️International Self-Care Day is on Wednesday July 24th... The day was established in 2011 by the International Self-Care Foundation (ISF) to promote self-care as a vital part of health and to encourage people to make it a part of their lifestyle. The day is symbolic because self-care can be practiced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's also a chance to reevaluate your health and lifestyle, and to raise awareness of the importance of holistic health.~

That's cool :D I think I'll try to take more walks as that really helps me feel connected with nature ^^ I'll also try to see if I can learn to do some crocheting, it seems like a really calming process.

Taking time out to walk in nature & connecting with yourself is an awesome way to practice Selfcare today!
Crocheting can be fun too... My mom used to love to crochet when I was growing up. We had thousands of balls of yarn 🧶 around the house! 😂 …. She tried to teach me, I didn’t do as well, but I can certainly understand how calming it can be!

@PoliteOcean How lovely<3 your house must feel like a heaven to the cats with so much yarn. I think I'll do worse xD that's why I'll just see if I can stick to it before I jump in. The initial stages of starting a hobby are always so fun xD

Today after I get home from working out, I’m going to cuddle up with my Furbaby, relax for awhile, and watch a good tv show.~
If the weather cooperates, I will try to take him outside so we can both connect with Nature~ ☀️🌳 ⛅️ 🌺
Yesterday worked on the basics...sleep, sun, nutrition, movement, socializing/connection, hydration.
Also did skincare, hygiene, sleep, hobbies and interests, rest, rejuvenation practices, etc..

Sometimes it will or can feel that way depending on varying factors of how we feel, how our day is going, or the things going on in our lives.. etc..
Someone once said to me that “everyday can’t be 100%”.
The point is that you tried and did these tasks for yourself. So every step matters & counts. But that if you continue to feel that everything is “pointless” each day, then that’s when it’s time for more professional help to work through those feelings & emotions.
And 7cups is definitely a wonderful start & stepping stone.
