**AND ANY & ALL "NEWBIES" THAT WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US
🌞 This past week was busy but went well~...... We got out and about last weekend to enjoy & take advantage of the beautiful (summer-like weather)... We started off Saturday going to the Zoo, which was pretty cool as I haven't been there in a while so it was something different to do.... Then on Sunday, There were various local festivals going on, and we managed to go to one, and then stumbled upon another~ ..... They were so much fun, & I got so much walking in that I managed to log in 20,000(+) steps!... I was pretty exhausted by the end of the weekend..... But At the start of the week I got back on track with things, and continued to stay busy throughout the week with both errands & appointments.... (I also managed to stay on track & kept up with the usual meal-planning, workouts/activity, & PLENTY of Hydration due to heat.... (Sleep was hit & miss, but not overly so).
🌺 The weather was completely amazing this past week and was totally "Summer-like"... And while I did manage to keep up with morning Group Fitness classes, I really Focused on getting LOTS of "Outdoor" time afterwards with the Pup..... I enjoyed being in, walking in, and sitting in the Sunshine, warm air & light breezes.~ It was such a great "mood-improver" after feeling a little moody & tired recently. So it was just what I needed..... I've also been asked & requested various times throughout the past week to start back to Instructing & Subbing Aqua classes. While that was a goal of mine (to get back to instructing various classes again), It kind of got placed on the back-burner for a bit..... so I need to start working on and practicing my old Choreo again so that I can be prepared "both" mentally & physically.
🌞 This weekend will be the last of the amazing weather that we've been experiencing, and starting on Sunday its supposed to become more (seasonal).... So intentions are to at least start the Saturday with a nice workout first, then get out & about to two of our Favorite Nutrition stores, & then take in a few more festivals that I saw will be happening. Then of course, "Movie-night" if we can manage to think of something this week?!
@PoliteOcean you went to the zoo😮 you are so lucky ❤ I would love to go to a zoo ❤ and festivals I guess festivals mean different things in different places. I think our summer festivals are aimed at kids, with kids puppet shows, local farms and animal charities, being and show some animals, let the kids handle them. Police cars and firetrucks park up, and the officers and firemen are there answering kids questions letting them pretend to drive the cop car or fire truck. Lots of art and crafts and mini games so great for kids. Then they do some which are based around local bands and singers, local food produce and craft stalls. They also organise traveling fairs. We do have many around here, maybe one-day I'll be brave like you and go ❤❤

But yes we went to the Zoo!… I love looking at animals and seeing different ones that I haven’t before. It was pretty cool as I hadn’t been to that particular Zoo yet. I want to go to a few more this summer so hopefully we can make the time to do that!
When I lived up North we used to call Festivals “Bizarres”! Lol ….Since I moved south years ago, they call them “festivals” here. (Like the summer festival, spring festival, fall/winter, Christmas festival etc..etc.. but either way all of ours here consist of “games, food, rides, many different vendors, & plenty of fun”… 😊
@PoliteOcean trigger warning= talk of suicide....hellooooo ❤❤ April has had it's ups and downs for me. I really struggled with sui attempt earlier this month. But I'm doing much better now ❤. We've had some storms, but between the storms, warm enough weather to sit outside and watch the sunrise😁❤ I've also started to try and write a book about my life so far. I've only just started by writing notes, I'm not really any good at writing, so we'll see ❤ at the moment I'm sick and just pretty much sleeping a lot.
things I'm grateful in April, for. -- the warmer weather showing its head, the wonderful life I have now, my 7 cups family ❤❤ my three little piggies which I love so much ❤❤

I’m sorry to hear for you that April wasn’t the greatest month for you, and that you had some (Ideations) & struggles with those thoughts. Life can certainly bring its challenges & struggles even for some of us who may not be as vocal about them here….. But I am so happy to hear for you that you are doing much better now! Yay! I also hope that your thoughts & struggles continue to improve for you. We are here for you!! HUGS 🤗
Despite the storms you had it’s nice that between those you got to have some warmer weather to sit outside! As well as watch the sunrise! Wow that’s early!!! Lolol but I bet it was beautiful 🤩!
How amazing that you are working on a book about your life! Wow. I think that would certainly be a book that I’d love to read! (And reading isn’t even my thing)! My attention span for reading isn’t the greatest lol…. But when I’m reading something good I definitely can’t put it down! Maybe once you really get things written down and put together there might be someone you can look into that has publishing experience and get help “pro-bono”?! Just a thought. There are those who are willing to help, just might have to research a bit. But best of luck to you on that! And please let us know when it comes together for you!
We are also glad to hear that despite some of the Challenges you had this month that you were able to push through them and find many wonderful things to be thankful & grateful for! 😀❤️

This past week has been ok for me. I am starting a weight loss drug, so I am hoping to lose weight before April ends. I have lost 1 lb. so far. I want to be average-sized by June 2024. That's in one month's time.

Thats good for you that overall the past week has been okay…
Have you started your new medication yet? Or are you waiting to start it? Hopefully for you that you will find the benefits in what you are looking for in it. Just remember that even with medications that we still have to do our part and eat well and stay active. It’s good that the medication has brought you some hope for results.
Please continue to keep us updated on how everything is going with your journey! I would love to know how your progress is continuing to go for you!

Hey Everyone~ Happy Weekend~.... How Was Your Week?! It's been odd. I felt embarrassed to tell people at work that the job and the apartment fell through, so I didn't say much at all.
🌺 This is our "3rd" Check-in for the month "APRIL"~.... What is something that you did or that caused you to feel "Proud" of yourself this week?~ I gave two weeks notice at work despite them treating me badly.
🌼 We have One more full week left ahead of April~.... What goal(s) will you continue to work on, or work towards achieving for yourself before this month ends?
I have a big final due on the 30th, so I need to focus on it and put the rest of my bad news on hold.

Thank you so much for the kind words… …although I do try to pick out the positives of the week, & I may not always mention my own little “emotional moments”! But, I did have some of my own “mood-swings” over the course of the past couple weeks, but it could all be hormonal or maybe even meds?… but I just try to keep pushing through! And staying consistent in Prayer helps ALOT!! 🙏🏼🙌🏼 lol
On another note…. Im so sorry to hear that your apartment fell through also?!… (I do know that you shared with us about the job)… But I can certainly see & understand you feeling the way you feel regarding sharing that information with your co-workers. You need time yourself to process it all! And you really don’t have to share it if you don’t want. Your co-workers don’t need to know everything about your personal life. And it’s okay.
Thats good for you that you were able to go through with giving notice at your job if you felt you were ready! As it shows not only were you ready to move on, but that you were also both “professional” and that you felt “confident” in being able to do so. And having that confidence is a good thing. And what you will need to keep going forward!
I also want to wish you all the best on your upcoming final. I know that you will focus and do a great job!
I think that your response of “Hanging in there for masters school” is actually pretty amazing!! I mean think about it, how many of us can say that we’ve even thought about Masters school or made a move to make it happen?! But yet there you are actually DOING it! So that is totally something to be Thankful & Grateful for! (And don’t forget Chloe)!! 😉(now you have “Two”)!

🌺 Something I did that caused me to feel proud of myself this week is notice a pattern.
🌼 The goal I'll continue to work on this month is clarifying the new vision of myself.

I totally hear you on how sometimes our "Mind can be more powerful than any drug"..... What we "Feed" it daily is what can help motivate and inspire us whether in positive or negative ways. What we think we can do, we can. And our thoughts can totally shape who we are or wish to become. It can also influence our overall well-being physically or emotionally....... 🌞 Hey Everyone~ Happy Weekend~.... How Was Your Week?! To be honest my week has been good!
🌺 This is our "3rd" Check-in for the month "APRIL"~.... What is something that you did or that caused you to feel "Proud" of yourself this week?~ I'm proud of the fact that my daughter's appt at the dentist went well, she has no cavities, and it's made me relieved as well. She is also learning more, talking more, and holding more conversations. Which makes me so beyond happy. Another thing to be proud of is that my soon-to-be husband and I have made our final decisions on the wedding. It is set in stone now!
🌼 We have One more full week left ahead of April~.... What goal(s) will you continue to work on, or work towards achieving for yourself before this month ends?
I can for sure say the biggest goal that is being worked on is going back to the gym, and working out for the wedding. My soon-to-be husband and I want to look our best for the occasion, and we are beyond excited. Another ongoing goal is to continue potty training, and we have started looking for pre-k nearby.

🌺 What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?.... How were you able to work through your challenges?!
The highlights of the week have been maintaining work metrics, passing another scorecard, bills being paid, as well as spending family time together this weekend and having a good time together as a family. The struggle of this week has been the constant back-to-back changes at work, a refresher training course that I was told last minute about and expected to read a "verbatim" script that was given to all of us with 0 time to prepare.

I have officially bought my wedding dress, bouquet, and veil. I'm excited about the wedding because I get to marry my best friend :). I already have the countdown made and just super excited, beyond ready to to do this next step!

Thats great for you that your week has went good for you!.
How awesome for your daughter (and you) that her dental appt went so well & that her personal development is going so great!.... also it's awesome for you and your partner that you both were able to finalize decisions together regarding your wedding!.... I'm sure all of those things have been a huge relief and set a great tone for your week! Definitely many reasons to be proud!
Also, how wonderful for both you and your partner that you are getting back into the gym and working on your physical health & wellbeing. (Which in turn, also helps with the mental-wellbeing too as it all goes hand in hand)! So great job to you both and keep up the great work..... I think that even 'after' things with your wedding settles, that its still a good idea to keep going! It gives you both some time together to continue bonding, and enjoy doing something that you both enjoy doing together. As well, (again) its a great way to stay on top of your overall Health!
Despite the few struggles that you had this week, It also sounds like you have had many highlights as well!... (between a great work week, paid bills, & family time)! And between officially now having bought your wedding dress, bouquet, & veil, the countdown is definitely on and getting closer. And I think all of those positive things, definitely out-weigh any of the struggles, challenges, or negatives! I can see why you would be grateful and excited to start this next chapter of your life.

I am happy that I have my cats and money right now. I am unhappy with the status of my health lately. I try to reach for help and only feel like a burden. I think I'm gonna try to be back on here more often.

I think its great that you are looking forwards to continuing to work on your goals of getting in a daily shower.... Good Personal Hygiene is definitely a great thing for our overall wellbeing. And can improve how we feel about ourselves both physically and mentally. So keep up the great work.
I think its also great that you are able to share with us 3 things that you are grateful for..... Pets are definitely the Best & Greatest! .....And Money & bottled water are also pretty amazing too!
I also think its pretty amazing that despite how you are feeling with the status of your current health, that you are here at 7cups....Since Here at 7cups, you are NEVER a burden to anyone, and everyone is here to support you and all your efforts to helping you to live a good life in every way you can. ....And I'm so glad that we make you smile! :)

@PoliteOcean I've been having a lot of problems with my Obama phone, which is why this post is a few days late. It might be dying but it's only two years old. Things have been working out great with Alan being back. He serves breakfast and dinner on time, which makes me happy. I went to the library 4 times and for a walk 3 times. Stuart has been yelling a lot, and it really bothers me. I have PTSD, heart disease, chronic pain and anxiety. He doesn't belong here. He belongs in skilled nursing facility. Thursday Chuck's car broke down so we took an Uber home. Any disruption makes me nervous because Chuck is so scatterbrained. Friday there was no bread for lunch, so I had to eat two protein bars. Leslie's adult son Tai who lives in the back house has been yelling a lot, which bothers me a lot. I'm doing some thing to get my credit score up so I can move out from Leslie's.

Hey there Regmo~ Its too bad that you have been having issues with your phone... But its good that you were able to check-in here with us this week. (Better late than not at all)!.... Thats good for you as well that things are working out and coming together better with Alan being back in the house. And that things seem to be running on schedule better with your meals. Awesome job on getting out to the library and out for your walks & for continuing to keep up with your activity. Keep up the great work....... As far as Stuart is concerned, based on what you have stated, it definitely does sound like he needs more "Skilled nursing care"! Whether in home or otherwise. Sounds like if he is going to remain there, then he should have someone more skilled coming into the home to take care of him. (Otherwise he should definitely be transferred out). For his own safety (as well as everyone else's)....As far as Chuck's car is concerned, seems like that happened before if I recall correctly? Sounds like he needs a much more reliable mechanism of transportation?! Especially if he is going to be a caretaker. (But for any job outside the home really)!....Hopefully its been fixed?! As far as Leslie's son continuing to live in the house, (I'm not sure of all the "rules" behind providing your own personal home for care), but it seems to me like he shouldn't be living there in the first place, let alone "yelling" for whatever reason?! The home is being provided for a particular service, and that isn't apart of that! And those who live there shouldn't have to put up with that either. I remember you mentioning working on your credit score so that things can eventually come together with you getting your own place at some point. So that's great that you are still continuing to work on that to improve your situation. So again continue to keep up the great work. And good luck! Thanks for checking in this week to share with us.
